  1. In the end is more of a vague memory made of plastic and quartz… any resemblance (or feel) of the original is pure coincidence. on the wrist it felt exactly the same as my son’s peppa pig watch…

  2. Fantastic. Before the lockdowns a my buddy and I were DJing 1960’s Garage Rock and we began converting the Vinyl to a streaming friendly format. We are also vintage audiophile guys with FM Tuners on most of our 70’s Hi-Fi gear and we’re looking to; at a minimum, be able to stream to any room in the house to these vintage stereos. This looks like an ideal solution. Sure, we could use the AUX ports with Bluetooth transmitters but what fun is that if all you need to do is “tune-in”.

  4. There were discussions that the rep might even have an auto movement . It could be a unique situation where the rep will be better quality than the gen! It's really interesting from a marketing perspective. I guess Omega agreed to this whole thing to raise its brand awareness (I don't agree I think it diminishes the brand especially if there is a general release). In the end as the rep gets released cheaper and better quality than the gen is it Swatch's brand that gets diminished? It will certainly make people rep averse reconsider their position.

  5. I own one of these (my third choice as the Uranus and Mercury ones weren’t available) The watch is built with a toy-watch quality in terms of quality and feel. They look a lot better in pictures as opposed to how they feel on the wrist in real life. Huge hype and nice novelty value for all of 5min. Will advise a hard pass for y’all wanting one.
