It's a market. Even if all of RWG boycotts reps (which I know we can't), we make up, say, 1% of the rep buying population. There is no stop to it, unless you are close friends with someone in GZ.
... now where to go for vacation?
The search for an XVI has been beaten to death. I highly doubt it will ever come to fruition, as the dealers don't see enough demand for them. For now, it's the 44mm+ craze. Hope it ends soon.
Great write up on a rare rep!
I'm a huge Omega fan, and while the subdial spacing has always bothered me (which is why i had to get the gen speedy pro) I am so tempted to get this one!
The conflicts are bezel diameter and case diameter. The bezel is smaller than the case, which has pusher/crown protection that extends the case out a little.
God, i would love a rep SM300 (well, a rep that they sold as a rep at rep prices...) apparently they are making this rep, but it always is sold as gen.
42mm PO, black bezel, white numbers. With it being the QoS watch and the least "loud," I think it has the greatest chance of coming to fruition.
Another big problem with the 4th gen 42mm: it had a horrible crown with the wrong Omega logo on it.
I'd like some Omegas with applied dials that have the lines going through the middle (like gen), not OMEGA. Also, get rid of the flat feet!
They need an Ultimate 42mm PO (QoS, anyone?)
Ultimate Bond SMP (case used for other Omegas)
The aforementioned IWC ingenieur!
Aqua Terra
I hope all your threats to move to other countries, calling this the worst day and a tragedy are NOT due to racial tension. He will make a great president.
If it weren't for the slightly imprecise lume application, I would say this is gen:
Even old-school SMPs don't have perfect crownguards! In fact, I've never seen such beautiful crown guards on a rep (except on cheap Asian 21J reps that have far more tells). Where'd you get it, if you don't mind?
