  1. Hi Rob, that's in what I am exactly interested! The dial feet position doesn't mean anything to me because I will cut them off and glue new feet onto the required position. But does anybody here know if the running seconds subdial and center hole are in the same locations? Thanks to all Frank
  2. HI, does anybody know if it is possible to swap an ETA dial (for example of a 1940 MM or a Fiddy) for a Moljina one? I want to upgrade a Moljina pannie with a new dial which is offered for swiss/ asian 6497. What's about the feet position and the distance between the centre and subdial? Thx a lot and all the best
  3. Hi Tommy, nice to see that you're you back to the board again. Let's have some coffee together next time, okay? Stay well, Frank

@AMK000: Okee dokee that would be my next question: On my gen aquatimer I have to push down the bezel first before turning it. Otherwise it is locked. I guess the rep comes with a 'normal' workin bezel just with clicks? To all purchased (and received) the new 2000: Please keep us updated if the crown is screw down or not

Why is he wrong? He asked the seller and I guess the seller should know the facts? Please enlighten me because I am also interested in that baby but the screw down crown is a must!
  6. Okee dokee, I agree: The most recommended modds are mentioned here. I still have a lello date wheel 2893 laying around . But not yet assembled. Is there another date wheel fitting that mvt. out by now instead of lello's?
  7. Folks, you're funny Thanks for your interests but I am still looking for the Holy Grail and I am hoping for an idea where to get one
  8. I have seen the yellow / black velcro strap as a rep offered by some rep sellers. But by the meantime I've seen a genuine velcro strap which is black with blue panerai writing. Does anybody know if and where that strap is available as a rep?
  9. Hi, I am needing the help of the board members: The titanium lever at my 061 seems to be from a faulty production series or whatever: It’s broken. I am needing just that small titanium lever which is dropping down the crown as a spare part (of course the right size with correct strength and not that ugly and thin piece of the early pannie models). I think I will not need the whole crown guard unit but just the lever. But I also will take the whole unit if required. Can anybody help? I would appreciate it! Thx a lot! Cheers, Frank
  10. Hi, thanks for these early reviews. I am still waiting for my crown (for PAM112) but didn't receive it yet. I am wondering what the seller, pam is thinking about the reviews? I didn't read any comment yet...
  11. Hi Rob, congrats! That's another nice work. I am still loving my white printed 1680 you re-lumed for me a couple of days ago. Especially the vintage tritium coulored raised markers are that nice!!! And of course: The pannie "bratwurst" style markers are incredible, too! All the best Frank
  12. I forgot: I am a fan of the mare nostrum chronograph (but I am afraid I am alone.... That's my experience from the other board where I asked for that rep recently.... BUT I AM STILL LOVING THAT WATCH
  13. Fully agree with Quarks: PAM202 with black face. And the PAM 00088 which isn't a new model but my favourite one
  14. Frank you are right: Remember these moon prices for the swiss swan necks a few months ago: For the same money you could get a whole watch (in a truly good quality). But in my opinion I'll better go with watches with a solid case back. Swan neck or not: The look thru backs will make the specialists see that it is a fake watch in a few seconds... Regards, Frank (the sub is gone by the meantime...)
  15. I fully agree with ubi and Rob: My 1655 bezel has fallen off a few weeks ago and furthermore the crystal. There was no other way: I took some epoxy (normally I hate that stuff ) and the problem has been fixed in a few minutes (and for the next two thousand years I guess... )
  16. I'll give my Arktos to my friend who is a goldsmith next week. I asked him for removing all bezel legends, cleaning and polishing them and then soldering them back on to the bezel. He will do that work as he is doing on other metals. I'll try that way because I am a fan of 'old school' craftmansship and not all that epoxy stuff... :yucky: We will see if it works. By the way: Great advice, Neal, thx a lot!
  17. @slickdick I'd be interested in those dial feet, too. Where did you purchase them? I am just needing two pieces/ one pair. May be you can sell me one pair? I 'd be happy for an information . Stay well
  18. She's got two wonderful subdials on 3 and 9.... like a Graham watch chronograph
  19. @Edge Hi Chris, sorry it migt be off topic but your avatar is driving me crazy
  20. @ PT Hey, that's truly good news. I am not that bicolor watch fan but your post was very impressive to start thinking about a purchase. But of course I 'd better go for a gmt master II TT with a solid 14k bezel instead of that plated one. Just another question: The mid links of the straps and the crowns are solid 14k gold. Okay. But what's about the mid part of the end links and also the mid part of the clasp? Which quality of 'gold' is it? I guess it is just plated?
  21. Folks, great idea! I would be in for 7753, 2893 and 7750. Of course I was just put in for two cyclops and I guess with a better date wheel these watches become killer. But I would be interested in a complete date wheel without sending my own one for re-printing it. What's about a poll to getting more customers for that project? As far as I can see the feedback for the cyclops isn't that bad. So what's about a date wheel call? Stay well
  22. Hi, maybe I overread some postings, so please forgive me. But by switching between the boards (rwg I + II, TRC...) and tons of information that can happen I guess I followed the discussion regarding the improved date wheels for 7753 and as planned by finepics for 2893-2. But is an improvement on 7750 available or planned, too? I would be in for a correct date wheel font to improve my pam050 then.
  23. I am in for 4 crowns: 2893-2 (PAM029), 7753 (PAM196), 2x 6497 (steel and titanium(look).
  24. Sounds good. Please put me in in advance for one date wheel for my PAM029 with 2893, okay? I will definetely take one (and I am already put in for one lens, too !!!!)
  25. @ sssurfer You're welcome But I guess we have to say thx for all that work and investigation again!
