  1. Theo, will you get an improved model? especially the missing He valve on the "old" rep was an obvious flaw. Furthermore: will the pushers will srew down? I would be glad for an information because that watch is on my list
  2. As the guy who started this thread I can ensure you that that smoking stuff wasn't my idea But seriously: I am very thankful that jake could clear all what I asked for.
  3. Pardon me but not my cup of tea... blue/ gold bezel insert on a steel watch looks a bit strange to me
  4. Mmmh, I like the watch but it's always the date window....
  5. Hi there, I am thinking about a purchase of that PAM202/ slytech chrono as an alternative watch instead of PAM187/ chronozilla. The diameter is 47mm, too which makes it interesting as a biiiiig tool watch Does anybody know if the pushers are screw down on that rep?
  6. Hehe! As I said: Better smoke south african dry rhino dung...
  7. I would be in, too! Please note that thread over on TRC. Propably a better BP will come out this year?! http://www.replicacollector.com/members/in...mp;#entry145113 Let's cross our fingers!
  8. Hey jake, thank you very much for your extensive information. That's exactly what I asked for. When I went to an IWC store I noticed the gen's dial which looked different to some pics posted by several sellers. Of course the minute markers look a little sunken but nevertheless sligtly raised on some reps. Anyway: Thanks to all for englightening me P.S. jake: Over on TRC you posted that a damn close IWC BP woul dcome out this year? I would be happy for more information.
  9. But with a wonderful taste of wildlife!
  10. Oh, Mark, in SA we're not smoking ordinary [censored] but dry rhino dung , Hehe!
  11. Pugwash you're funny: I wrote: "to me it looks like recessed markers on the rep's dial instead of applied/ raised markers as genuine. (...) Does anybody already received that rep and could help me in this?" . I guess that is more a question than a statement, isn't it? I don't worry too much but I was wondering about the comments. Maybe it depends on my english language skills....
  12. @ Finepics, what a kind statement I took a look to the pics of some sellers and due to the pic quality to me it wasn't clear if raised or recessed minute markers. Of course I know the gen watch but we are talking about reps. It is obvious that the hour markers/ numerals are raised. @ slay I won't ruin anything. I am wondering why my question is bringing up such comments here...... @ lovepanerai Thx mate! You understood what I meant by posting my question here!
  13. Hi there though I am not a fan of these dress watches (my latest purchase is a damn close new datejust but compared to my Avenger, PAM127 and Bentley I decided to put it the box...) i like the new IWC Portuguese chronographs. But by comparing the rep pics to the gen watch (in person and in the catalogue) to me it looks like recessed markers on the rep's dial instead of applied/ raised markers as genuine. Does anybody already received that rep and could help me in this? Thanks a lot!
  14. That Laureus really exists but please note that this is a foundation supporting children e.g. for education in poor countries. I mean: Everybody on the forum knows how to judge fake dealing though we all collect these damn watches (indeed, me too!). But I wouldn't feel fine by purchasing a rep watch which should better be purchased as a gen to grant children related projects. Please don't take me wrong as an upholder of moral standards, just my 2 p.
  15. Nice pics, indeed! I think I will take some pics of my Bentley on my hairy legs
  16. Yes, but I am afraid a transplantation wouldn't be that cheap
  17. I am jelaous That would be a nice project for myself after my recently finished Franken-Avenger chrono project. But to be honest: First I will be back with pics of my 200% PAM029 . Just working on the date wheel and then I go to take some nice pics.... I hope I get this ready before my next trip...
  18. Strange auction, strange behavior. Obviously flaws but guaranteeing 100% genuine.
  19. Yes, you can. These dials which are offered on eboy very often seem to be a B-series ( I call it so). Means a dial which is printed but not finished/ lumed. As you can see the metal dots are slightly recessed which means the lume could be "filled in". It is just a dot required, not that problem. That pic is very nice. Just for fun I thought about luming the numerals on one of my other AC dials. I guess that baby would glow more than a pannie...
  20. @ kruzer Actually I bought three dials One was perfect with rehaut and lumed markers. No Scratches and hairlines. That is the assembled one. I bought the others later and they came without luminova just metal markers as you can see from the pics. Maybe I will give them to another member or keep them for reluming and swapping later. Maybe a white Avenger? First I thought about luming the numerals. But beware the gen isn't. That's a big misunderstanding. Actually that biiig watch comes with these small lumed dots. Isn't that funny?
  21. I am remembering that sapphire or not sapphire crystal discussion refering to the Fiddy/ PAM127.....
  22. I am thinking about a purchase and an engraving modification: 1117/3000 or 2117/3000.
