  1. I would be in for two ar coatings on 196 and Inge crystals. Is there a deadline for sending them in? I am in EU and I have to disassemble the crystals first.... Probably I would order a third ar coating but I need an info: It is a PAM239 with cyclops. I guess I will have to remove the cyclops first before the ar coating process can start? I want to be honestly: I am a bit worrying about broken crystals: I asked a german optician recently for ar coating. He told me that he asked some companies but they don't want to do that job because of a significant risk of damage by clamping the crystal for the coating process....
  2. Angus, due to the current postings here: Please show us pics of the final product. The perfect EVO would be a mix between the 2nd and the 3rd generation: Bracelet of the 2nd, ar coating and dials of the 3rd for example (I know there are further features but the community knows what I am meaning). As far as I understood there is a deadline for placing pre-orders. Although I did so I'd like to wait with payment 'til I've seen the final product: I want to get what I see Thanks!
  3. As marcus said: Shoot him a pm. I did so and received an answer within half an hour.
  4. When I took a look to the dealer's section I didn't see an offer? Could you please tell me a link or show some pics? I'd like to order mine asap
  5. Gosh, what a beauty! That model is my favourite evo and I hope Angus will offer the new model with white lume an both side ar coating soon! Yes, I know he did so today. But I am still waiting for better pics with higher resolution to judge the dial's quality.
  6. Hello Rob, A long time ago I read your review of the new asian 7750 mvt. (28’800 bph). As far as I remember you reviewed the modified asian 7750 with running second at 6 (Daytona) which is quite tricky because of the additional 11 gears. But what is about the asian 7750 with running second at 9? I am thinking about a purchase of the PAM202 with subdial position on 3, 6, 9 and running second at 9. Please note the pic (taken from Paul's site): Did you ever serviced a watch like this? Would you recommend this as a reliable watch? Furthermore: Do you think you would get it water proof by installing additional o-rings to the pushers and the crown? I’d be happy for your information, all the best Frank
  7. Hey Rob, thanks for your answer. I was worrying exactly about that gear "transfer" which is different from the daytona models except the running sec at 6. I guess I will stay away... I will comfort myself with a nice modded Fiddy soon Frank
  8. Angus you made my day... I was afraid about that obvious flaw... As aid: I am in for that great EVO (you received my pm). But please with 22mm lug width
  9. I am still owning the standard Inge but I am also interested in that chrono (steel, not AMG). I'd be interested in the qualitiy and reliability of the movement . As I can see the mvt. construction is a bit similar to the daytona reps with running sec. @ 6. But there are further changes in construction (see the subdial's position at 12). So: Is the chrono purchase worth? I mean will that watch be good enough as a reliable daily rocker?
  10. 24mm lug width??? Angus, are you sure that the rep will come with 24mm lug width? It would be the wrong size because the genuine watch has just 22mm (catalogue says: 22/20mm: Lug with/ clasp) The only current Breitling (genuine) watch with 24mm lug width is the Navitimer GMT
  11. Merry christmas! Santa didn't bring a new watch (cos I am waiting for the new evo chrono ) Today I am wearing that baby (hope the date issue will be fixed soon):
  12. Or better: The "Innen-Alster". I have been there last weekend together with my wife for some x-mas shopping. Yes, indeed: I went to an AD there and he got me a new Pannie catalogue Merry x-mas to all, too!
  13. Hi, I am thinking about a purchase of an asian PR (PAM090 or another PR). I read in another thread (HERE) that the asian PR mvt. seems to be a "blatant rip-off" of the ETA 2892. Does that mean the DW is interchangable without problems? I am still liking these inexpensive asian PR PAMs but the date font is horrible. So what dio you think: Is a better DW available/ will the 2892 DW fit?
  14. Angus, that watch is driving me crazy When will it finally be released and which dial versions will be available, then? And please, push a group buy!!!!! I'd be in!
  15. Thx! Please let me know when I have to make payment on my 2 lenses!
  16. I would be in but I am also afraid that we will see some things we don't like....
  17. Please count me in for one, it will improve my MBW 1680 alot I guess!
  18. Lello, you are the man! I didn't await that you would design that DW that fast! Congrats! I guess I didn't promise too much when I expected some interest here? You know what I mean! Ah, and please don't forget to put me in for one IWC DW
  19. Thx for your kind comments, guys. I went out for dinner yesterday with that 029
  20. I will be out tonite for dinner with my wife and it is a hard decision: Which pam should I wear: PAM061 (swiss Unitas), PAM196 (swiss 7753), PAM029 (ETA 2893-2) or the chronozilla beast 187? Besides: Most of them are modded (I know, a rep never will become perfect but I am trying my very best...): E.g. re-lumed (by The Zigmeister), new cyclops, new crowns, cannon pin fixed and so on. All straps are purchased from BOB, please note that fat 5mm strap of my 061 and that nice shark skin strap on 187. Enjoy the pic:
  21. Excellent news and thx a lot for your work! I will be in for 2 or 3 pieces! What mag factor will these cyclpos' show?
  22. Taking some time for double bass playing at the weekend ..... with my niiiice DJ
