  1. Received my nylon strap yesterday. It's not that bad but I guess I will better stay with my bracelet because the nylon strap has an unpleasant smell of chemicals
  2. Bad boy! Too bad mine will come late but run perfectly.....
  3. Me too. And already made (pre-)payment...... But I am in for the grey dial with black subs. And so I am still waiting....and waiting... An alternative would be the black dial with silver subs. But on that one the same procedere: Waiting....waiting......
  4. Ooh, that young grashopper is in th age of 42..... But not patient because that is an amazing project
  5. @ HauteHippie I pm'ed you several times for shipping info: My Ingie crystal is ready to go for days. Please send a pm. Thanks.
  6. I guess I am not wrong when I say we all want to get our reps as perfect as well. We have a few guys on board who are carrying for us and bringing several projects forward. I noticed very often that a first call brought up tons of postings e.g. “I am in”, “ Me too!”, “congrats!” and so on. But when our “gurus” (the watchmeister team, Mark, The Zigmeister, Lello, Palp, Joe and others more) tell us that a project can only be realized with a minimum of assistance and work by the members the interest often implodes... Remember Mark’s call for the re-printing of the PAM DWs (to be honestly I overslept the re-print of a 2893 DW but I am in for a 7753) and all his effort. Such a project needs patience, assistance and finally reliability of those who declared an interest. Currently Lello is working on a re-printing project for our Ingies. Due to the construction it seems to be necessary to disassemble the watches and send him the just the DWs (with stick on overlay). My impression is some shilly-shally in the forum, since he asked for sending in just the DWs. So come on guys: remove your DWs or let it remove by a watchmaker and bring the project forward: for yourself and for the community. We are at least 50 Ingie owners from the GB. So what’s up? For the guys who are interested in chieftang's great ar coating offer: If you want to get your watches ar coated: Don’t hesitate and send him the crystals (if interest has been stated before). The more we are the better the price. His offer is great so come on pull the trigger and prize his efforts. I also remember The Zigmeister's call for all customers with unpaid bills..... Please don’t take me wrong: Some of us are perfectionists and want to get the reps as close as well. Others are happy with a 60% rep. Some won’t some can’t spend more money. No prob. But I would like it if all members would simply stick by a word. That would support and assist our watch gurus and make projects better plannable. If you really want to get your watch perfect you will have to carry for it by yourself a bit. That means: Try to make it easy for the Gurus: If just a DW is required: Send in the DW. Is it a crystal: Send it in. Not all of us have watch making skills. So: try to find a watchmaker in your area or send it to one of the experienced guys here. There is no reason to hesitate considering all the sources here in the forum! As said: Don’t take me wrong, no bad thoughts. But just my 2 cents and a try to prize the efforts of the guys who are working creative, hard and of course with expenses. All that should be prized by a little assistance, homework and patience, right?
  7. Thanks for sharing these wonderful pics. That watch is on my list. Last year I asked here (or was it TRC?) for a reasonable PAM165 rep (Ti/SS). I wanted to build one up by swapping parts from a Ti model to an SS model. Problem was the "flat" Ti case which was just available for hand winding pannies. But when I see that 089 I am really thinking about a 165 or probably a 221 franken-rep... I guess I have to contact Joshua soon.....
  8. @Lello, Ingie is already disassembled and I will send my DW out tomorrow. Please pm me, okay? @chieftang: pm sent on Ingie crystal / AR coating
  9. Lello, as posted (and pm'ed) I can ship my DW within this week. Please let me know what you are thinking about. I am disassembling my Ingie anyway for an AR coating and it would be a pleasure to me to take part in that "pioneer" project
  10. @ Chronus: I could send my DW to Lello as a test/ prototype. I will go to disassemble my Ingie anyway because I will send in the crystal for ar coating . What do you guys think?
  11. That's a pretty nice cal. 321 which has been assembled to the early speedmasters. i am owning a pre-moon speedmaster with the same calibre. Serviced is that mvt. very reliable and a pretty nice collector's mvt., too! The newer hand winding speedmasters come with the Cal. 861
  12. Is that topic still relevant? I would like improved hands because that flaw kept me away from ordering a 088 or 089. I would be in for a full hand set.
  13. Better a delayed release of a nearly perfect watch than a quick SALE OFF of a disappointing rep which will take a lot of more time for countless modds and never become satisfying.
  14. 2 can be shipped in the middle of next week. Third is at finepics' place now. I ask him for shipping.
  15. Just turn it around, hehe! Just kidding. But believe me. Since I ordered my 239 I am loving these ergonomic left-handed watches. Give it a try. Otherwise send me a pm probably I will take it
  16. I tried a few minutes ago and received this again: The error returned was: Sorry, the link that brought you to this page seems to be out of date or broken. Maybe you could enlighten me what the state of the EVO release is at this time? Or guide me to Angus posting?
  17. Mmmmm when I tried that link I received the board message: "Sorry, the link that brought you to this page seems to be out of date or broken." What's up?
  18. Despite the problems I posted due to my recently purchased 239 (which will be swapped for an accurate working one) I would recommend that watch. The making is pretty accurate and the left handed case makes it very comfortable because that thick crown guard does not bother you at any time (by wearing it at your left wrist as usual). A truly ergonomic piece and an eye-catcher, too!
  19. Hmmm... today is jan 15th... Where are the pics? Angus, c'mon: Don't put us on the rack
  20. The crown stem is an easy fix. But it is definitely the mvt. which is down. That isn't an easy ride. The seller (with whom I am quite familiar) offered me to send another one which makes him one of my favourites here. So what is incorrect?
  21. That "explosion" happened on my 212, too. And I am owning a "best-off" 127 version which was promised a sapphire crystal version and came with a lousy mineral crystal which scratches within two days. I got a beautiful new crystal from davidsen but I am still watching out for a spare crystal to get my 212 fixed. Probably another member could help me?
