  1. Usil - I purchased a from a private member here not a dealer. The dial is attached as usual: It has got feet fitting the asian mvt. No glue. Will be an easy swap as the old one can be removed without problems. I will not do that work by myself but will ask The Zigmeister for a re-lume job on this watch. Will lokk very nice re-lumed with C3.
  2. Here you are: http://cgi.ebay.de/Nato-Armband-Nylon-Nato...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.de/MILITAR-ARMBAND-NATO-ST...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.de/NATO-Militaer-Band-Wass...1QQcmdZViewItem
  3. Just posted over on the darkside. I recently purchased a white 225 but don't like the white dial. I purchased a new 202 dial plus hand set and will swap both. Actually the gen case is made from Ti and the rep pearl is a weak point, too. Nevertheless that watch is truly a quarterpounder. YOu also can see a black BOB carbon cstrap with PAM-blue stitches. This one went out of priduction a long time ago. It measures 26/26mm and will fit the mutated watch (with black dial) perfectly. Enjoy the few quick shots:
  4. No, it is a BOB merino cognac strap (honey is for girls PAM lovers take a cognac)
  5. Pleasure, pman I already posted some links to the german bay. These Nato straps go for 6 to 8 euro plus shipping fees. Three colours and several sizes, 18,20,22mm available. Good luck, man!
  6. It is something below 19 cm. But life is too short to wear small watches
  7. I bought this as a gen bezel insert for 1680. I noticed some slight design changes on gen R.l.x spare in the past e.g. DWs or dials. That was often discussed over on gen fora. Nevertheless: The pearl doesn't bother me as my lousy "ultimate" PO pearl
  8. Sorry, mam I've got just one further pic which shows that the AR coating definately reduces reflections: From that ancle it seems that both watches have no crystals assembled:
  9. Hehe, today seems to be my super poster day Borrowed a camera from my neighbour because mine is down. Must take advantage of this situation This is my PAM029 with ETA2893 which has been fully modded by Rob. As usual: Many thanks for a great work What has been done: Service as usual, "L" at 6 changed into a "T", vintage sausage markers with SL, 2,1mm palp crown, new date mag (chieftang) and an old lello DW which has been in stock for a while. Thanks to all the guys here for your support Enjoy the pics: BTW: Strap is from BOB: cognac alligator with black edges
  10. Just took a few quick wrist shot of my 225 for you:
  11. Hey Warren, nice to read you here! What's about your 196?
  12. Hi there, finally I received my fully
  13. Hi there, the ar coating quality on the current reps has been discussed several times. I don't want to continue that discussion but just w3ant to share some pics: You can see my gen chrono colt automatic (out of production, now) compared to my SF and BCE (both rep). The ar on the SF is very close to the gen but the BCE is lower quality. I assume an aditional hard coat (as on glasses) on the SF but not on my BCE because the BCE shows some very small scratches in the ar. BTW: I don't handle my SF with care: It is my daily beater and nevertheless I can't see any scratches. Enjoy the pics (I know, I should spend more time and money for my photo skills instead of watches ):
  14. Hi there, I am owning a few gen vintage Omega chronos but wasn't interested in a rep yet. Finally I purchased an ultimate PO and -yes- this is a nice tool watch- I dont want to write a review because bytor did so in an excellent way. Just two quick black&white shots of my PO (45mm) on NATO-strap for your pleasure:
  15. I received an ultimate PO (45,5mm) two days ago. Purchased from Paul. Movement is an ETA2824 and it is a great time keeper. Watch looses 8 sec. a day which isn't bad. I opened the watch and the mvt. looks clean and lubricated as well. But: The bezel pearl is sunken and the case back doesn't show a textured and polished surface but looks rough, matt grey. I purchased a lot of watches from Paul for the the last two years and -yes- sometimes it is a challenge But finally he always has been fair.
  16. Much appreciated, Rob! If the crown fits the manual pannies I am in for one!
  17. Since I have finished my Franken Ti Avenger with swiss 7750, gen dial , hands and gen date wheel (!) I have been searching for a good super avenger rep as a base for modds. The bezel on the shown modded watch especially the open 4 (45 at bezel) is amazing. May I ask where did you (the customer) source that rep? Same to the dial and hand set: It was a challenge to source the gen parts for my Ti Avenger and took really a long time to get all together but I couldn't find any super avenger parts yet. I would be happy for an idea, feel free to pm me me
  18. Stunning pics, Pedro I just placed an order on my 3717, too!

    Ice

Pedro, I see the ice cube but where is the Martini?
  20. As I can see the kevlar fits the Ingy. I pm'ed Angus for the size of the clasps. I don't know if all clasps have the same width. Genuine clasp has 18mm?
