  1. Much appreciated!
  2. Hi, is the lug width on the new 3717 chrono (rep) 21mm as on the gen? Or is it 20mm / 22mm? I'd be happy for a reply because I am in pole position for my next purchase
  3. I am afraid that is wishful thinking. Don't take me wrong: I'd be happy for a waterproof IWC diver, too. But I guess it will not withstand 120 meters (which, to be honest, isn't that much for current watches even inexpensive genuine brand watches). Let's cross our fingers
  4. Hi there, I followed a lot of postings here to find an information about the ROO chrono. The wrong subdial position (running sec @ 9) doesn't bother me as I want to swap the mvt. for a swiss 7750. I am interested how the case construction is: Is it a 3 parts "sandwich" construction helt together by the 8 screws? Are the bezel screws fakes or tubes for the screws from the backside? How's the rubber quality? Do you think the rubber will withstand salty water, sweat, sand and finally the sun? What's about the date mag? I've seen some watches with a mag some without. If someboday here is owning a ROO and doesn't like it e.g. because of the running sec. or whatever: I'd appreciate an offer. Thanks for enlightening me
  5. I am crossing my fingers because that watch looks truly nice
  6. PR? Do you mean PReitling? PRolex? PRIWC? Please enlighten me!
  7. Hi there, just took a group shot of my PAM babies. My digicam is but nevertheless it will give you an impression I think. YOu can see: 127, 249, 196, 239, 029 and 061 (Ti with solid Ti back) All watches are engined by swiss movements (except 239), fully serviced and re-lumed by The Zigmeister (except the 249 which is quite nice out of the box). Furthermore you can see the new 6,9/ 7mm lenses, better DWs (on 196 / 7753 and 029/ 2893), ar coated crystals, bigger crowns and so on. By the way: The PAM239 destro is probably for sale. I got it back from The Zigmeister a few days ago. The watch is brand new and fully "ziggified": re-lumed with SL C3 and fully serviced. Maybe you will find it in the sales corner later... (I am looking for a 5218, 000, 005 or 212 w/ sapphire and swiss 7750 ). Here we go with my "fleamarket", enjoy:
  8. The PAM288 Radiomir chrono is truly nice. It should be easy to rep with a 7750. Even with an asian 28'800 mvt. it would be nice because it has a steel caseback. I assume we will see this one as a rep soon. Of course: I will be in then
  9. For a watch purist there is no alternative
  10. Hi there, just saw this thread and would like to ask if the rep has a screw down crown like the real deal? As far as I know it hasn't?!
  11. Not bad Warren How do you like mine? Received it just today: The Zigmeister did the (vintage) lume, swapped DW and 7mm cyclops. The crown is a fat palp piece, too. Of course my baby is engined by a 2893 Ah, you can't see it (bad pic): The Zigmeister also changed the "L" into a "T". Pic shows my 029 on a BOB alligator strap in cognac with black edges. Enjoy:
  12. I am owning such a marino gator strap but in a different colour: "cognac" with black edges. I am owning a dozen BOB straps and I can vote for any of them It will be hard to find better straps for these prices!
  13. Just got my PAM239 back from The Zigmeister: Fully serviced and of course re-lumed with SL C3:
  14. These new Ferrari reps are really nice. I saw them today at an AD's store and compared to the gen I must say: Save some money and buy a rep for a 99% feeling. There is just one reason that keeps me off from a purchase: I don't like these italian F. cars! I am crossing my fingers that they will make that watch with another car brand.... Or better a motocycle like my 20 years old BMW
  15. I am wearing my genuine Sinn D1 (it is an early series 140/42!!!)
  16. Patience, young grashopper Now seriously: I just ordered a new digicam. It will take a few days because of Easter. First I'll do is to take some nice SF pics when my new toys is arriving
  17. I can second that. Except for the flimsy concentric rings in the middle of the dial. The subdials are good and the black colour is really black I was a lucky guy by getting that dial because I am owning the "grey" BCE which actually seems to be brown I am going to swap the dial soon. If you like to get the closest version: Try to get a dial with arabic numerals! Also black with silver subs. These dials have no concentric rings (even the gen).
  18. The black dial is the one and only The concentric rings "play" wonderful with the light. Sometimes the dial shines in a black/ silver tone I really love my SFwhich arrived a few days ago. Since that my other watches even my gen watches are "sleeping" in their boxes
  19. As posted in another thread I received my black SF yesterday. Lume is not bad aligned but clearly raised and overlaps the frames a bit. The lume of the pearl shows a gap/ it seems to be a bit crumbly. The lume glows bright right after putting it into the light. But it is going down in a very short time. I decided to get my SF super-lumed soon.
  20. Hi there, I am still impressed by the qualitiy of my new SF which has arrived yesterday. It is the dearer ETA version not the CN one. Despite all fantastic workmanship it is a bit difficult to screw the crown in and I am concerned to ruin the thread by screwing it in with a little more power... As I can see the thread is clearly longer than on my BCE. The BCE crown needs just 1/2 turn. What'S about your SFs? Any problems with the crown, too?
  21. I finally received my black SF today. That black dial is stunning! It is quite close to the real deal because of the concentric rings. By turning the watch in the light it is really nice shining Go for th black one: As said: Looks wonderul and is quite decent as a dress watch, too!
  22. Richie, you're a bad boy
  23. That's exactly what I am meaning! Thanks for pointing that out!
  24. Mark, after sending in my 7753 PAM I sent several pms and emails within the last three months but didn't receive any reply yet. I am sorry to hear of your flu and all that trouble but please understand that I am in a tricky life situation, too. I will move to another country 9.500 km away from my current home soon and of course I will have to do a lot of homework for my family and myself before which is truly not related to my watch hobby..... I would appreciate it if you could send just a short email and keep me updated. I offered to you to send my PAM196/ 7753 plus the attached parts back without assembling them first. It would save you some time. Please let me also know if my 7753 DW has been already re-printed. Please don't take me wrong: i am truly not impatient and of course I am always trying to be considerate of other people in difficult situations but I am -as said- in a personal situation which needs some sympathy, at least a short email/ reply, too. Thanks and all the best
  25. Wow! What a pretty nice review! I am owning both the SF and the new evo. After reading your review (which is entertaining, too ) I see my SF from a different angle
