  1. @Erdi: Is that for sure? Which asian 7750 do you mean : The old or the new one (28'800) which has been reviewed by The Zigmeister?
  2. Waiting for Godot? Don't hope so cos I'm truly a GP Seahwak fan If it would released I even could live with a polished version instead of brushed Ti.....
  3. I fully agree! Besides: Today I went to my local AD and tried the GP Seahawk on. You won't believe it but this watch fits my wrist better as my 187, my Fiddy, my 249 or my Avenger although the height of the GP is about 20mm. You must see that Seahawk in reality and 3D! That case shows an amazing design and is really charming your wrist! My AD showed me the version with polished bezel makers on brown letaher strap with white stitches. Case is about 45mm. A serious alternative watch for PAM lovers!
  4. Yes, Miles, I agree. Especially that PAM187 47mm chronozilla looks much better than a 46mm square "clock". (Just kidding ) You know what I mean
  5. Two quick shots of a real classic watch

Toni, shame on you : Kevlar strap? Where did you source it? It is a must have but the price is really bothering me.... As for the correct printed date wheel: Let's pm, okay?
  7. Hi rolli, how are you doin'? My 249 will get a BOB Buffalo strap asap. I guess I will visit him next time for some further straps Cheers, Frank
  8. Sorry, I can't agree. Ti would be nice. The Ti Avenger chronographs and all Ti pannies do have the right weight and feel. Steel feels more cold but Ti very smoooooth And: We see tons of steel reps... a bit boring, isn't it? Anyway: I voted for GP seahawk (praying for a Ti version )
  9. Today I recieved my 249 . Just took some pics. Enjoy:

Since I received my Inge from RWG group buy it became my daily rocker. And for the wrong date font: Research has begun
  11. Yes, that's what I hope, too. If no Ti GP availale I'll vote for that outstanding Ebel!
  12. I can't follow: We see tons of steel reps. Why not choose a Ti version, now?
  13. Yes, that's what I pointed out several times: Let's come to the point: Start a poll on those three favourite watches and start the production of our very own rep And please: Vote for the Seahawk Titanium with working power reserve. Otherwise I will suggest further watch models....
  14. Good idea! Let's turn the corner by a final poll on those 3 watches!
  15. SEAHAWK in Ti case with working power reserve. AMEN!
  16. @ pugwash You are right. I guess our favourite watch for the poll will become the GP then?
  17. Folks, by adding a 7750 we will never find a final candidate... TTK suggested two models in post #15: chronoswiss. These models have never been replicated. Very unique. On the other hand TTK voted for GP Seahawk which is truly a monster watch (but please a rep with working power reserve!). Jay's offer is a great chance to get a rep which has never been released before. So why should we go with usual brands? Please note Angus' current thread HERE It means that we don't need to get a further IWC chrono built by Jay! Let's go for an unusual rep like GP or Chronoswiss!
  18. Paul's watch shows the wrong date! It should be black instead of white.
  19. #5 but unfortunately I am "out of operation" due to an old compound fracture of my right hand.... But now Rob takes care for me from time to time
  20. Hi there, yes, the super AC is 49mm and the mvt. is a 7750. An ETA 2824 is quite strange because it has got no chrono function... For all who are intersted in a better super AC version please note my thread HERE Maybe we will find more mebers who want to get an improved dial? The dial which is assembled to the 48,6mm rep is more an evo dial then a super AC!
  21. Me, too. I went for an AC in Ti and swapped a gen dial and a swiss 7750. But I am still loving that huge super AC and I am crossing my fingers that we will find a manufacturer who is willing to get us the perfect dial.
  22. @ pugwash It seems you are an IWC fan? But you are right: Why not to kill two birds with one stone: Especially a better 2000 with Ti case would be nice!
  23. In principle I agree with TTK: That chronoswiss is nice and different to other styles we have seen. I guess it is worth to copy that watch. But please with a 6497 mvt. and modified with a center second hand as genuine 44mm model! An additional left hand model (available as genuine!) would be nice, too! The icing on the cake would be that rough and extra long pilot’s strap! Seahawk would be nice but only with working power reserve. Maybe it will need an ETA 2892-2 which will not be that cheap but worth. Another favourite watch is a correct vintage GMT Master 1675 with correct printed dial, correct bezel and case size, acrylic crystal, milled cg, big lugholes* It would be a monster if engined by an ETA 2893-2! Eventually I would go without a perfect super avenger rep then
