Hey Pakz That's very handy to know. I wear Panerai and a 47mm Steinhart amongst other things so I too wear the big boys. Glad to hear that it doesn't feel too dissimilar to a Sub, that's one of my favourites. Do you wear it on leather or steel strap? Any wrist shots?

What's the lug size? Is it the same on the reduced?

Thanks mate I literally just bought myself a gen. I went for the 'reduced' version though. I like big watches so not sure how I'll see this. I love the feel of my submariner so hoping it doesn't feel much smaller than that... Will post my own pics when it arrives, but for now this is all I have

Where did you get the watch from originally? It really is beautiful. I've been toying with the idea of getting a gen but thats enough to make me think twice? I've never really researched the speedmaster in terms of flaws but have vague recollections of the subdials being incorrect?

Hey Guys I've been buying parts for my 7032 project and some have proved difficult. The 7734 was proving most difficult. I emailed every man and his dog to try and find something. Most slipped through the net but eventually I got one with 45 min recorder too which was a bonus. So, what am I waffling on about? Well another of my emails has come to fruition and someone else has offered me a 7734 in good working order also with 45 min recorder. You guys have helped me out quite a lot so I thought I'd check if anyone else is on the hunt before I say no to this one.

Thanks guys. If I'm honest the chrono isn't a major concern but would be a nice to have. What should I look for when sourcing a valjoux 7734 to know it'll fit/work in the build? Can my stupid untrained eyes spot the 45 min recorder?
