Very nice Tanya! You have some great PAM's. You know, you say overpriced, but when you look at a gen Panerai - it just oozes quality. The finish is just second to none.....precision manufacturing at its best.
I was looking at a few Big Bangs today......and they didnt look as raised as I expected them to be... Maybe its just the close ups of the photos that show the difference between the TX and 2geek/factory crystal. Photos of the gens that TX posted all seem to be raised.....
Yeah he sold out quick! I actually decided to go for it when he had only 7 left (and that was on Monday).......Whenever I take my time to decide on going for something and I miss out on it, then I tell myself "you snooze, you lose"
What are you guys talking about here? Machining the rotor?
Dont shoot the messenger Im no PloProf expert (I just saw no happy feet and got excited).........you are absolutely right, it does say speedmaster on the back I dont get it?? Lack of common sense?
Well thats what I thought, they do look really good.......the finish looks well done! Not sure about the 21j's (theres nothing about them in the movement review section either)....but for $128 can you really go wrong?
Hey guys
Not sure whether im allowed to post this, but it seems "Hont" has the Plo and it looks pretty decent, in fact they look gen?? I dont see any happy feet???.......reckon these are pics of a gen? He has the white, black, blue. PVD and gold.....?
Hont PloProf
I feel your pain Raijor!! I wonder how the factories choose which brands / models to rep? Do they just take a wild guess at what they think will be popular and easy to sell? Or do they actually do some research? I would have LOVED to have seen the FF being repped over the PloProf....(and im sure it would have been easier too)......
Can anyone here get a shout out to the factories to rep a FF?
Congratulations anics! Really nice looking piece. Im expecting a Francisco modded HBB in sometime soon so your post will keep me going until its here Just one thing I noticed: In your first photo (the head on of the dial)....the right hand screw on the "lug" (I think they are the screws that hold the strap).....well the right hand one looks sunken in more than the others......(just an observation)......
Have you got yourself a TX crystal?
Hey buddy. Thanks for the quick tutorial. I think my main concern would be removing the stem/movement.......but I still want to give it a go Might give you a holla when my watch arrives (if thats ok with you?)
Oh yeah, whats the best way to ensure the crystal is clean and dust free before installation?
