Hi Craig, Interesting list of watches. The first three are all very classical looking timepieces - given your physical characteristics I think the breguet marine might disappear on your wrist..... If I had the choice I would probably go with the Breguet XXL or the Rollie Daytona....

I have a Seiko perpetual calender - which was my first ever "proper" grown up watch........it served me for 6 years solid! I have owned tons of gens too........But a toss up between a "low end" gen (mind you some seiko / citizen models are in the $1,000 bracket)......and a high end rep I would choose a high end rep! Its just value for money.....ok its not the real deal, but a reps are fantastic watches - they look great and keep good time......

All the photos are amazing guys - AllergyDoc beautiful photo of Autumn fall. Stormtrooper, the photos of the lake eyre are unbelievable, and I love how REAL that shot of the street in Paris is - you can sense everyone getting on with their daily lives..... Hey Zig! Good to see you on the forum! I guess youre going to find those sort of people wherever you work. Theres always going to be someone who is rude, someone whos lazy etc etc. I mean, we have over 20,000 members but you definitely dont see 20,000 members on the forum on a daily basis. As Bike Mike said, some people come on here to find a good rep then just disappear. Thing is, its people like you, Chief, Ubi, Lani, Domi, Francisco, BK (and many others) who make this hobby interesting and worthwhile, and im sure alot of us appreciate it Theres no way we would have some of the super reps around if it wasnt for you guys....... If someones not going to bother to reply to your PM out of common courtesy, then its their loss! Hope you dont drift away.

I never really noticed the pearl - but yes it looks a little bulbous - like a big eye! Im defnitely not fond of the font on the bezel either. I think the same bezel with just the rider tabs at 12, 3, 6 and 9 would be much better....and the old style pearl!
