  1. Some really nice additions guys. I agree, we could all do with a great FF rep. I was actually going to add the 500 fathoms, but the FF's is alot nicer. @db2: Totally agree, its a watch you have to warm to, and Im quite liking the new SO 2010....im sure it will be repp'ed @ cvstos: Although those are nice watches I think theyd be too complicated to rep (accurately - thats why I kept the watches simple) @BT: Why is it there are no good Zenith reps around? @Modelizer: Very good addition.....I love this style (similar to the Tudor Heritage and Ubi's Tudor Oyster Date).... Heres two more: Sticking with the Heritage theme.......loving this SO Heritage Ltd Edn And a new one from Muhle...(not sure what model though)
  2. + 1 - its a great looking piece!!! (pic isnt mine, i dont own one )
  3. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I thought thered be one, I tried to do a search first! This can be an update then Did they ever rep that El Primo?
  4. Hey guys n gals! There are sooooooo many cool watches out there that I thought it would be nice to see what everyone wants repped in the near future. Obviously will try and stick to reality and what can actually be manufactured - so no triple tourbillons SO here are some of my favourites....im sure there are more.....but this is all I can think of for now 1) Tudor Hydro 1200 2) Tudor Grantour 3) Tudor Heritage Chrono (TOO SEXY) 4) The new Superocean 2010 (Im warming to it) 5) The JR Aquascope (I love the case and dial) 6) JLC MC Diving Alarm 7) GP Sea Hawk (this ones one of my favourites - def should be repped) Corum AC Deep hull 48 9) Bremont Supermarine 500 (awesome watch) 10) IWC AT Deep 2 (A must rep I think) 11) Hanhart Primus Pilot Chrono (if they can rep Grahams, they can rep this) 12) Glashutte Sport Original Thats all for now. WHat do you want repped??
  5. PS: My sisters just told me shes flying out to New York and Kansas this week.........Reckon we could pick up a decent D90 there?
  6. My favourites!! Glad you had fun showing off your beautiful ROO, pool and home Hehe.
  7. I didnt even know a site like this existed. Thanks Gran. Always had trouble tracking EMS packages. Could be a very useful tool.
  8. I have been looking at a few retailers today and playing with the cameras. The D90 is a big and heavy camera in comparison to the 500/550. But then again its slightly more advanced and has a more solid body. I do like the D90 - so I am searching for the best prices! Hey G! Good to hear from you again. 450/1000 have been forgotten. Im to'ing and fro'ing between the EOS500's and the D90....its about getting the right deal now. I dont think I will be passing through Singapore or HK any time soon unfortunately Is that where you are located? Ive had a look at clubsnap too (thank you) and saw a few D90's in the $1,000 brackets (same as youd pay for a new one here)...... Prices of the Panasonic GF series are on par with the EOS 500/550D's here (so id rather get the latter).... There are a few places that sell the D90 body for around £570 (but then I dont know what lense to get with it? They offer a Tamron 70-300mm F4/5.6 DI LD Macro (Nikon AF) for an extra £119......its a zoom lense with macro capabilities?......Aaaw man, thats very kind of you, but what do you mean by "I can bring it up to you"? Would you be able to source one at a good price and bring it with you? Is that what you meant? I think the D90 is the majority joice here now.......I appreciate your input given Ive seen some of your brilliant work too
  9. "PHOTOBUCKET SITE MAINTENACE" - great!!! Thanks for sharing w0lf......will check them out later!
  10. +1. Great reading.........
  11. Hey G! Thanks for that , you make it sound easy. Do you use a light tent / box? I need to pick up a tripod! Hi Gerald. Thank you so much for a very concise response. I went into a store over the weekend to have a look at a few - the sales guy was TOTALLY pro Canon. He asked me what sort of shooting I want to do, I told him mainly watches (and other general - landscapes / holidays / family do's etc).....he said Canon. He even told me I dont need to go for the 500D, that I should consider the 450 and 1000D as well. I think he gave me some wrong information as he said the 450D uses the Digic4 processor (as does the 500/550D), but it doesnt, it has a DigicIII. I havnt disregarded Nikon yet! The D90 looks like a great camera. Funny you should say hold your breath when taking a hand held shot - I notice I do that on instinct Do you use them to take the photos of those beautiful women in your signature? Thanks for throwing me another combination buddy, options are good. The thing is, I havnt seen many second hand cameras / retailers around London. The only place ive looked is "the Bay".
  12. Sebby, probably wanst a good idea to publicly display your phone number on here. Secondly, it seems Mike will leave you alone the quicker you pay him.........
  13. Ive jumped on the "TX HBB crystal" bandwagon.......Having considered the 2Geek Vs TX I'd say the TX has the upper hand.....
  14. This would be a dream come true for sure! But as everyone has said - its a dream unless youre extremely lucky its virtually impossible. Dont know why there are gen SA dials floating around either (but hey who am I to complain).
  15. That is a good idea, but does anyone know what percentage of total rep watch sales the forums make up?? The dealers advertise / sell on the web, so surely there are non-forum members also buying them? I also agree with what Ubi said earlier. That surely the factories would benefit from a little research through the forums. They should have someone as a member of the forums taking notes on these little niggly annoying imperfections (yes I know, its a rep it will always have imperfections), but it will save everyone alot of time and money. Instead of bringing out a model with 10 imperfections, then fixing one imperfection and releasing a V1, then fixing another and calling it V2........VXXXX? Surely easier to do the research and get it as right as possible the first time......... I have a feeling the 42mm PO will have happy feet..... (but not such an issue as its easily modded).....
  16. I cant see the pics for some reason , but just from the list of parts I can assume this is one heck of a watch!! EDIT: I can now see the pictures and I love it even more. This is one of my favourite ROO dials. Truly beautiful.
  17. Very nice mt666tm! Whats your verdict on the AR difference? Anyone: How easy is it to change crystals on HBB's for a noob?
  18. WOW one of them is a rep?? SUPERB!!!! There are very slight differences (noticeable only when you have them side by side) - but if its on your wrist I doubt anyone would be able to tell. Really cool.
  19. Whats with the happy feet??? Surely its easier to make the logo without happy feet??? Im assuming theres not way gen dials can be found for the PloProf?
  20. Thank you for the update Concepta. Ofcourse family comes first. Wish you and your family all the best through this challenging time
  21. Worthy of being one of the top ten gadgets!.......Everyones got to have a Casio (which reminds me, got to look for mine) This one is HUGE and totally cool! Nice pick up Plai
  22. WTG Jetrigger! Practically gen. Sorry to bring money into this, but whats the cost like to put one of these frankens together (VS picking up a gen preowned one?). Oh yeah, and, did you have trouble fitting a gen bezel? Or is that problem only with the SA's?
  23. You guys sure know how to think out the box - its brilliant. Gorgeous looking ice-magic
  24. Thanks AD. It is blingy, but I think it has to be. Brushed steel just wouldnt work (especially with the chrome dial markers).......The bracelet catches the light really nicely..... Thanks krpster. Yeah I think the bracelet is the best combo for the SA, otherwise its quite dull! You mean cough up for a gen SA? Well, just keep saving and get it when youre ready...... Thank you wimpie! I was contemplating getting the black at first. But then saw the blue The blue looks different in different light which is very cool! I wasnt enjoying my OR Is yours a rep OR or gen? Cheers WR! Thanks buddy! Yeah, as we always say "gen is gen" at the end of the day. That was what was worrying me about the rep case against the gen bracelet.....but its matched quite well. You have a gen SA? So wouldnt it be worth getting a gen Pro II for it?
