  1. Thanks DenzO and coolfire
  2. I read the machining process for the cases is extremely complex.........if the factories work that one out then would be grea tto have these repped.....

  6. Hey guys, hope everyones very well as always Just picked up a new toy for my D90 - a Tamron 90mm Di Macro lense woohoo! have always wanted a true macro lense. So I took a few shots of my good lookin' HBB SS this morning before heading out (and given these are "quick and dirties" I think they came out ok......) the Tamron is fantastic and alot of fun. Definitely need a tripod for this sort of photography - very easy to blur images Hope you like.
  7. Fantastic! Lume dots look sweet! Will be a pleasure to wear now im sure........Enjoy!
  8. Really nice collection! Ive had my eye on the Lagunare COSC for a loooooooooong time, never really pulled the trigger (dont know why) - still love it though.

    Amazing!
  11. I see. I only have a simple copy of Photoshop Elements which came preloaded on my laptop......... Its extremely basic. I did rotate and crop a few of the images using that method though...... Oh That would be a trek! But Ausralias gorgeous. Wish I had my camera when I was over...... Thanks mate! They were my first attempt at using my DSLR so im glad they came out the way they did No, no photoshopping, files from camera were RAW, I had to tone down some of the colours, brightness, cropping etc.....Dont know how to HDR either (I dont have the software to HDR properly anyway) But hey, its great you think they look HDR'd All credit to the D90!
  12. Havnt stop lovin this one.......
  13. Aaaaaaaaaaaw group hug! Hey sql! Youre right buddy it is a bit "lonely" out there in the real world. Many of my friends and family notice I have a different watch on regularly and they always ask "is that a new watch? Looks nice".......thats about it Or if the topic comes up in a social situation, my brother and sister will say "oh yeah, O**r loves watches, he collects / sells / buys them" and everyone just goes "oh, yeah really? hmmmmm"........ I mean even in most AD's the sales assistants shockingly have no idea what they are talking about.
  14. Hey BK! Sorry to hear you move away from the rep world with a bitter taste in your mouth. TBH I think you were just unlucky. I am definitely a noob and have had nothing but great experiences with all the reps I have bought. I think patience, research and a bit of common sense go a long way in the rep world..... If youre new it is very tempting go crazy and buy a variety of reps from dealers just because they are cheap versions of the real deal. But alot of members put alot of effort into modding, fixing, servicing etc etc various reps - and these are the reps to go for! I guess if you want a "perfect" watch with water resistance and peace of mind then yeah reps probably arent for you, however even with gens I generally take mine off if im anywhere near water........ Anyway GL
  15. Im assuming straightening can only be done when taking the photo right? Yeah I noticed the yellows and greens are quite vivid (but only realised I had left the camera in "vivid" mode with a stepped up saturation). Thanks for all the hints and tips.......
  16. Hey bro! Thanks man. Yes Scotland is beautiful.......a vast contrast to the busy fast paced life in London. People are so much more friendlier up there too We drove by Loch Lomond, didnt have time to stop though which was a shame. Where do you live? You should def visit Thanks mate! Thanks TP! Appreciate the feedback coming from you What is straightening / compositional changes?
  17. Thanks mate! I dont live in Scotland but yeah you should definitely visit......
  18. My feeble first attempts to play with the big boys!
  19. Cheers Red. Well I think I started off in "normal" then switched to RAW when I realised...... Although its a pain to download them onto the computer in RAW etc etc (files are huge)......
  20. hehe the hints in the name hey Scotty? Yeah had a brilliant time Scotland is very beautiful (definitely a difference to London which is where i live). I have been to Glasgow and Edinburgh a few times but this was the first time to the highlands. A weekend isnt long enough though. There was plenty of Heather and seafood though. Unfortunately didnt get the chance to try haggis either I did have Lorne beef (flat) sausages for brekkie though..... Thanks buddy, I shot the photos in RAW then messed around with the light settings / levels and colour settings (hue's). Pretty simple....
  21. A few more.....
  22. Hey guys, went to the Scottish Highlands with a few friends over the weekend (im sure alot of you missed me........ ). Anyway it gave me the chance to play with my D90 a bit. I think most of the photos came out overexposed (I used Manual mode the whole time which im happy I did). One thing I do notice however is the way the D90 picks up on colour - its fantastic! I mean most of the time it was really dull and grey but the D90 makes it look like spring/summer. Anyway heres a small glimpse of Scotland (there are about 200 pics, but im only putting up a few) The photos are taken around Glencoe / Oban.....comments, crticism welcome.
  23. Fantastico Pete! The Hublot is by far one of my favourite reps - astounding quality. In fact I went watch browsing the other day just to compare rep to a gen (ofcourse my rep was in my pocket hehe) - and I couldnt tell the rep from the gen. I didnt handle the gen but im assuming if there were any tells they would be from the movement, but if its on your wrist then its indistinguishable. Mine came with the factory AR (which was more than satisfactory, but the crystal is a tad thin). So I installed TX's crystal (and its VERY SLIGHTLY thick from what I could tell, but AR is perfect - overall closer to gen). So yeah your watches should be absolutely fine Love both of them! :thumbsupsmileyanim:
  24. Hes a left handed player, wears the watch on his right
  25. WOW, quoting Will Smith in Independance Day: "I gotta get me one of these"..........
