For some reason I can log on using my Blackberry browser but with Safari on my Mac I get the same messages as Slay. With ken's Link I also get the same placeholder message. Eddy

Personally I think they overdid it with the AR on this one. I ahve one from Joshua, and the feel of it is so flimsy. No heft to it at all. But what can you expect from a 100$ watch. Eddy

The movement is the main flaw. 900$ for a very unreliable movement, the Asian 7750. Oh well gotta just remember a wise man once said "a rep is a rep" Eddy

The point is that they could give two shites whether it says speedmaster, seamaster or shitmaster. As long as there is a market for these flawed reps, then they will always be there. Remember we at these forums are a mere drop in the bucket for these mass producers. They mostly cater to the bulk buyers and then there are the scam sites that will sell these flawed reps for 500-600$. KMost people who buy reps are not interested in the accuracy of their timepiece, whereas for some of the "WIS?" that frequent our forums that is the only thing that they see. Remember we rep collectors can probably spot a fake better than anyone, even the AD's. Eddy

Yeah I bought these when they first came out. I think I paid 680$US for it. It wasn't as "in" as it is now. I doubt I would sell it for 3x that price, since thats what they are going for right now. Yes you are right. The XaMas new price from strapmasters is prohibitive, but when you can get it used for around $200 its not bad. Especially when I feel that straps are just as important a component if not more. I even saw one recently at P site for $175. All I know is I made a choice to pay whatever price it was for the strap and if it makes me happy thats all that counts. Eddy
