I guess we should all commend you on your uber-intelligence, but not every one here is a MENSA as you like to think yourself to be. It may be stupid to you but in the real world people do buy products all the time knowing that a model will replace it in the near future. Remeber newer always does not mean better. Especially in the rep world. There are many reps out there where the 1st run is much better and accurate than the 2nd run. Also I have to disagree with your assertion that the buyer bears no fault in the purchase of a subpar rep. There is enough info on this and the 3 other forums to inform a buyer of the flaws of a certain rep or dealer. If he chooses to buy that rep and then have buyer's remorse than he has no one to blame but himself. If you are definitely sure that a better rep will be coming in the near future than you are more than free to not buy the current rep model and wait for the next one, but I for one would like to have the choice of buying now or later. Hey Bigsy Your whole argument about buying soon to be outdated products applies to mainstream electronics and computers as well. I'm sure the computer you are happily typing away on became quite obsolete the day you bought it. So if you want to equate reps with the marketplace as a whole than you have to be more consistent with your arguments. Eddy

I am in no way encouraging you to do anything illegal, but isn't what lw54, suggesting to do is drop shipping. Pretty much what EL does over in Canada. I wonder whether the rep laws are different up North of the border. Eddy

Hey Joe I you are worried about a Pam being too big for your wrist, maybe go for a Pam that is a little less massive looking. The Arktos is a big thick heavy watch. Maybe try with the 036, which is a very nice light watch or a Base model... 005 perhaps. Eddy

Personally I think that the new dials lume is much more accurate than the old one. The old one seems almost like a sandwich dial. The new one seems to have the sandwich filled in with the lume. Eddy

I've ordered 4 watches from David and I have to agree his wares are my all time faves. They are far and above the best reps I own(other than my WM ). The quality of his PVD is just astounding for the price. He is the best thing that has happened to us Rep Paneristis by far. The thing that I love about him the most is that he is striving constantly to improve his product with input from all of us. PT is advertising that his 187 has AR sapphire. Is might be true, but I highly doubt it. It seems like the same 187 as the other dealers and mine definitely has no AR. Eddy

From my understanding through many conversations with David, the CG's for his cases do not fit the cases of other reps without some modification. The holes don't line up. But I don't remember if I had this conversation with him regarding hte first runs or the second runs, but I would definitely ask him before getting them. Eddy
