  1. Hey Tom You did a great job with the watch. It is one I will treasure for a long time. Eddy
  2. The first gen PVD ahve a different crown guard than the second. Even though the 2nd gen CG's are thicker and bigger, the main flaw with them is that the lever does not sit flush with the case when closed. David has made new CG's that deal with this flaw. I will try to show you the diiference in pics since I have the 1st gen 009 and the 2nd gen 195. As you can see on the 195(2nd gen) the lever is not flush with the case. As you can see on the 009(1st gen) the CG lever is much more flush to the case. Eddy
  3. I don't see how a dremel would be able to add 1mm on each side of the end links. Eddy
  4. Aaron only sells the strap. The buckle has not been repped yet if ever. A gen buckle will cost about $300+ on the P** site or the bay. I've posted before on this buckle and have asked several dealers about it, but so far no dice. Eddy
  5. Mark I don't know if you would want my liver. Eddy
  6. You know, the crown does sorta dig into my wrist, but you are right I will only be wearing it once a month. If I ever see the need to part with it I will give you first dibs. Eddy
  7. Hey Arthur I think the bezel is misaligned and the date font is too thick.. or is it too thin? Just kidding my friend. Congratulations. It s beautiful. It definitely has a different feel to it huh?? Eddy
  8. This might help in knowing a little about the company. Based out of Biel, Switzerland. http://www.tourbillon-watches.com/tourbill...tm&house=21 I personally think its nice but for that price and if I wanted a gen, I would probably get a Schaumberg(NauticFish) on the bay. http://cgi.ebay.com/NAUTIFISCH-DIVER-CHRON...1QQcmdZViewItem Last one went for $600. Eddy
  9. This a totally modded out IWC BP with a gen dial, ETA movt on a custom HK strap.Originally done by Tom Bombadil. It is encased in a Russion Pilot watch case, so it is much heavier and solid feeling than the reps available from the dealers. The only thing was to get the date font correct and in line with the date window, The Zigmeister had to fudge the date and the date is for show only. So I can only wear it on the 25th of the month... but no biggie I have enough watches to ooccupy the other days. Thought I'd do something artistic with the pic. Eddy
  10. I highly recommend getting David's PVD. I have a 195 and a 009 from him. My 009 was his first run with the more desirable CG's. But i just ordered his 218a and he is sending me the new Cg's as well for my 2nd run 195 and 201a. I also got a much better patina on the PVD's by doing a very brief job with cape cod on the PVD. Looks much more closer to the grayish PVD of the gen. The pics are before I did this little mod. Here are some pics of his watches. the 218 is on its way. Eddy
  11. Complete with the Sharpie mods. Just brilliant... brilliant. Eddy
  12. I'd go to China and buy myself a rep factory and churn out the best damn reps that money could buy and sell them on the forums and with all the money I made i would only buy gens... Eddy
  13. Maybe it was Maria of MBW fame... Maybe it was Luckyy pretending to be Maria of MBW fame planting seeds of discontent and discordance amongst the Hatfield's and McCoys of the rep world... maybe it was jetmid !!! Eddy
  14. David has the T-Swiss-T Tobacco dials? I guess he's gonna get a PM from me. Eddy
  15. I would give one of my kidneys to get one of those movts for a project watch. Its a beauty. Eddy
  16. I have to respectfully disagree with you there Puggy. I think that V's ommission of TC straps should have no bearing on whether RWG does or does not use his post as a sticky. This is nothing against Elliot, but I believe that E. is not a "welcome"? dealer on this forum, no matter the circumstances. Therefore his inclusion in the post should not be an issue to be a sticky on this particular forum. Eddy
  17. Worst ones I got were about 10 years ago in Korea in a district called Itaewon. It was a Rollie black sub-- brass with a ss coating. It was still running up to 2 months ago, when I took it apart to gain some knowledge of the inside of a watch. Also bought a crappy Pasha which i sent to BigNasty to practice his skills on. Paid about 50USD each for them. Eddy
  18. Retard is so not-PC. The correct term is restricted as in mentally restricted. Eddy
  19. Almost 2 years with my 196. Keeps beaytiful time. Though don't wear ir as much as I used to. Eddy

Some other straps that get a nice patina to it from wear other than the ones previously mentioned is the PAV99(IMO the nicest color) and the MP8. Eddy
  21. That is a pic of the gen diving buckle that comes with the gen 187. Aaron does not sell them. Someone over in RWI I believe got one from the P** site. The combo strap and buckle cost him $700+. Eddy
  22. I think the gen 6152-2 also has a recessed pinion. So it is more accurate as is, if accuracy is that important. Remember the MM20 is not marketed as a rep, but more as an hommage. And like I've previously posted it is one of the few wacthes in my collection I will probably always keep. Eddy
  23. I think Precious Time has the same 45mm PO also, with the ETA and curved bracelet. Eddy
  24. Is that the Eddie Lee version or the Watchonpo version??? Eddy
