I think it looks really nice on the tan strap. Eddy
  2. Yes the first run was mineral, then the subsequent runs there was a period where they were an option, then i believe they all were sapphire. Eddy
  3. Oh you know mw so well Randy. I've been salivating over this one since I saw it posted on RWI. It the new Luminor Submersible Depth Gauge with the OP XV cal. ,in a 47mm titanium case and the depth-gauge is the electronic gizmo. A run of 600 units. The back case is fluted to let water in so the the electric gizmo can measure the pressure and the depth. I don't belive a number has been assigned to it yet. Should be available in th 2007 production line. Hopefully sooner for the rep... Eddy
  4. I'd definitely be all over one of these. I had the regular Conquistador, and it was just too small for me. The King would be awesome. Eddy
  5. I yhink Eddie is based in Canada but all the watches I have gotten from him come out of taiwan. Eddy
  6. I also feel that there has to be some kind of "quality control" for the buyers/members as well. I totally agree with Ryannon. Put up or shut up. If we have this little kitty that we can aid certain members or dealers out than am all for it. This would have been very handy in the Edge situation as well as the Dutchy situation. I'm in for at least $50. Eddy
  7. Randy This might explain why the gen bracelet is giving you trouble, whereas the rep is ok. Nickel is one of the most common causes of contact dermatitis. So the 904L having a higher nickel content may be the culprit.... Maybe you are just physiologically more compatible with reps. This is what I got for my $250000 med school education. Eddy
  8. Hey Chris Au Revoir... Good Luck in all you do... will always consider you a friend... Eddy
  9. Now that would ruffle a few feathers... Eddy
  10. I would be in of course, but only if the mag is decent. Eddy
  11. From what I remember this is what the watch that Lex had on looked like: Eddy
  12. I'm guessing that there has to be a way to adjust it since my bezel is right on. So there has to be a position on the ratchet that corresponds correctly. Maybe it also has to do with the bezel itself, since I have heard some of you say that the bezel is loose. Mine is pretty tight and maybe this has something to do with it. Eddy
  13. Hey Gil Not out yet. Everyone's chomping on the bit waiting for that one. I suspect we'll be seeing them out when the new wave of the 2006 pam reps start coming out. Eddy
  14. I don't think it was a pam, it looked nore like the Tag Autavia or a vintage Breitling. It had a SS bracelet from what I saw. There was a good shot of it in the basement of the mansion with the train set. Eddy
  15. If I bought that watch my wife would make sure that I were giving up sex for more than a month... Eddy
  16. I think the problem with the 7753 is that the date window is in the wrong place. This is independent of the date pushere which may or may not be funcyional. If a new case has to be milled, then the price is just gonna shoot through the roof. I would probably trust Mark to rework the 7753, but I don't know what the quality assurance is gonna be on the 7753 reworked over in Asia by some Joe I don't know. Eddy
  17. I put the vintage tan back on. Even my wife and daughter preferred the tan. The brown looks pretty damn good on my 222. Eddy
  18. Now Gil didn't we have this conversation already. Sorry you had to succumb to the intense desire... I still am resisting. Eddy
  19. You can make a cool V-skin strap out of it. Send it to Aaron. Eddy
  20. My wife wears a 113 and it looks pretty cool. I think 44mm pams look sexy on women... I guess it depends on the woman. Eddy
