Yes, but it won't help you. Palp is 'on leave' from modding and watches in general right now.

What Daniel Craig wears when he's Off-Duty

Actually, it was a photoshoot on a clifftop hence the harness (insurance requirements). Bond 22 hasn't started shooting yet -

A sad day for the British Fire Service

Indeed what makes it even more tragic is that all four were part-timers and really shouldn't have entered the empty building whilst it was still burning. There will no doubt be an investigation. -

No I didn't catch this sorry, but still can't imagine what mischief you're talking about that would make you feel this concerned? What, have you had threats or something? I sincerely hope not, and really it isn't my intention to take you down a peg but I just can't help but roll my eyes and think you're being a wee bit hysterical at the 'threat' of 'trouble' for those that frequent there with the same user name. I still don't get why the subject of reps winds them up so much anyway, it's a free world and it's not like it's their intellectual copyright. It's not even about scrimping and saving, I think it goes much deeper into their collective psyche.....veering towards jealousy and their own self-importance as justified by their ownership of expensive possessions. Pathetic really. As I said before and like Neil has just put more eloquently - who gives a rat's ass what THEY think. I'm registered there but have to admit in general, they come across as self-righteous pompous tosse'rs, who know little or nothing about horology. Leave Finepics alone to his new 'friends' they really do deserve each other. See how long he lasts, as in my experience people who play both sides of the fence inevitably end up digging their own grave anyway. -

Alan, you're right, but it's not the F1 link that annoys me, it's the shameless marketing spin surrounding a rookie who's won nothing, yet seemingly is 'honoured' with a limited edition watch. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. At a marketing-driven push, even an F1 would have been more appropriate as that model aims for the market likely to buy a Lewis Hamilton watch. But not an Aquaracer Calibre S. He also in the interview, says it was an honour to "have an input on the design" Here's the pic, knew I'd seen it somewhere....

And then what what...? I get the obvious self-interest behind your 'concern', but seriously, what are you so worried about? You think he'll out you? You think you'll be persona non grata? Talk about paranoia. Personally, I don't see the need to warn anybody. As someone said, karma will out (swidavid or otherwise ).....both for Finepics and any of those at Risti (and there is a high proportion of ill-educated pompous numpties there) that are stupid enough to buy into his bullsh*t. I'm just glad he's gone from this place if that's his MO. -
Here's the other two plus another two in pink gold ()....as I said though, I think the carbon SS version is the best. Non-PVD version...hmm, wouldn't say no The 'Seiko' one... And the two gold models one with carbon dial

Know where I can pick up a 3135 movement?

Try your local AD, if you're lucky they may even gift wrap it within some cheap-feeling stainless steel 'case'. -
Actually, they make some very nice classic retro chrono's etc. (see below). It's just that, for obvious reasons, the professional Instrument Series is what most people think of when you mention B&R, so evolving that 'hard to wear' tool watch look is a step in the right direction IMO.
-
I saw it today in a local AD's window and had to pinch myself. No official word of it online though Very similar to the Team China one - same insipid grey dial and insert with some tiny text stating McLaren Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton limited edition - that's it for a

Finally, a B&R Instrument Series watch that won't look like I'm wearing an alarm clock attached to a belt Finally a decent size - 44mm. And a nice departure from the aviator-type design - this one looks a SERIOUS Divers' watch, with a heavy-duty depth rating and an Aquatimer-like inner rotating bezel. Comes in three variations - this PVD is the best, there's another in SS and another with a different more generic dial (looks like one of those Seiko Kinetic Monsters). Me likey, me likey a lot And in 'testing'

I agree Pug. DST is outdated and unecessary these days. It's those bloody farmers complaining that they have to get up in the dark to count the mountains of cash they receive from EU susbsidies to NOT milk their cows I'd happily trade BST for a sundown at 8-9pm during summer with winter light until 6-7pm. p.s. VB - finally a decent avatar! I loved 'V' (the original not the crappy miniseries) - Diana was such an evil cow

No, it's a Monza. Now discontinued in favour of the inferior Carrera I love cars and the content of Top Gear, but just can't get past how obnoxious Clarkson and that Hamster bloke are. Just ruins it for me. Accept they appeal to the chav mentality but it's clear they were the spotty bullied nerds at school and much of their humour hasn't progressed since. Same problem with seeing Jamie Oliver - all have faces you just want to punch....hard....repeatedly. James May though I like he's quite funny in his pomposity and has an old-school self-depreciating style you just can't dislike. He really should have jumped ship to Fifth Gear with the other good ones, like Tiff (top man, been there as a pro driver) and Vicki Butler-Hendersomething (again, an ex-pro not a jaded journalist).

I know you enough to know that's not the case, but look again how easy those words could be misconstrued p.s. Stan was joy to watch...when he could be bothered turning up to play that is (skip to 0'59")

Methinks you're getting a bit carried away here . Honestly if you're that fearful of the Risti Order raining down their scorn on you () then you shouldn't have registered with the same name. I'm sure Chris (now that you've helpfully named him here in case THEY visit this thread incognito) has better things to worry about. And there's the rub K, "loyalty to friends"...kudos to you my friend, but it's a concept obviously alien to him. I know someone here who knows FP personally and has work done for him - I won't name him all I'll say to that person is I judge people by the company they keep -
Sorry you're wrong - the 6 on 26 is closed on my gen c.1570 silver flat top DW As I said before, this is basically a gen c.1570, a decent redial plus a gen caseback >>>> $750-850 + $150ish + $300ish = about $1250 total. Pay anything over and you've been had. The case I'm not even sure is MBW, it's fairly crappy, and for that alone it's misrepresentation at best, scamming at worst Nothing much more to say.

Well then you're stuck then aren't you Ok, ok go to the Watch Collector Galleries then *sigh*

Never spoke to the guy, never had any dealings with him except for the time he demanded money before he'd let me have a look at a PAM DW scan Personally I don't care if he's got out of reps. His choice. But this is different. To purposely go there and try to sleazily ingratiate himself by 'spilling the beans' is out of order - also quite pathetic and sad, speaks volumes about his character. Reminds me of a certain strap seller/mod on the Dark Side
