Quite! Taxi for M5 Man The seller should have also given you a clue. The polished bezel MAKES this watch IMHO.

Does this mean what I think it means? 'Behind the rope' access Neil?

Seems they're all coming out of the woodwork these days See my recent similar post HERE

Quite right my apologies as long as you equal Scum's result you'll win the group If so JTB, we can look forward to playing the likes of Barca, Real, Inter, Roma, Porto, (Benfica for us ), and the one we all want, AEK Athens Personally I think we will get Real (shades of '81), you will get Inter (ditto '67), then from then on it's anyone's guess. If we progress, Lyon await in QF and a very strong Valencia () in the SF or even better the Final. That'll be an interesting one "for sure"

Auction ended at £350. Strangely, it has now been 'uncloaked' again, hmmm...... Winning bidder only registered on the 12 Nov and had zero feedback I hope that represents shill bidder rather than a naive scammed noob? Annoying thing is we will likely never know. Still it restores my faith in ebay as a corrupt illogical organisation

*STOP PRESS* I have today been informed that the SWAWKF (aka 'strap we all would kill for' ) is actually in production!!! To satisfy my perfectionism on this (the 187 strap was produced to varying degrees of quality and feel), I have offered to supply exact specs and pics (rubber/silicone composition ratio, embossing, tongue, holes etc.) to ensure it's done right. 10-14 days eta. p.s. I've never been a fan of the 007 model SMP, but since seeing it in the flesh (and on the wrist) yesterday the CR edition PO is whispering to me softly - must be that extra little symmetrical flash of orange on the sec hand, mmmmm....although I worry my recently arrived new model all-black PO Chrono would get quite jealous

Nice escape attempt JTB but UEFA rules sadly means 'country protection' is applicable; i.e. protection for the Scum against being given the boot out of Europe by Rafa's mighty army Still, I trust Benfica to do the world of football a favour and deliver aforementioned studded boot up Old Sour Puss' backside Unfortunately for you my friend, Scotland is considered an enemy alien to England, so you bhoys are in the firing line for a whipping at Anfield, there's a certain UEFA Cup score to settle Doc ===> JTB ===>

JTB, Dirky Boy is indeed a real find - he is just made for Liverpool, as you note his workrate, team ethic, energy and link-up play are superb. A future legend for sure - there's a strong aroma of old Liverpool seeing him play, I'm talking the likes of Keegan, Toshack even dare I say it, King Kenny! Interesting you think Lyon await in the QFs - are you giving us a bye past the last 16 then? I agree though I think it's fated and would love to see Houllier back at Anfield, it would be fantastic, a hard-fought tactical battle but with a huge amount of respect and renewed friendships both on and off the pitch exactly what the Champions League SHOULD be about, and not the whingeing, unsportsmanlike behaviour, ref threatening, and generally lacking in class antics that Chelsea and even Arsenal seem to resort to as standard these days As for Alex Miller, I don't know really, Rafa seems to like him , an 'old head' so to speak, one of the few from Houllier's era he chose to save from 'walking the plank'. So he must have something about him although he looks like a grumpy old soak to me. The other member of the holy trinity, wee bald Pako Ayesteran by contrast is a real character, a real hard trainer but loved by the players. I had heard Miller is wanted back in Scotland as manager of Dunfermline or some club like that, and I think it would be a good opportunity for him. As a replacement, I really hope we offer the job to a real Scottish legend, the one and only Gary Mac - he turned down the reserve coach job this year as it was too soon after the sad death of his wife, but he will be back in the fold in some capacity, of that I'm sure.

Sure, all I need is a mirror, hypermobile shoulder joints and six-foot arms One of my old pals at med school once suffered a perforated appendix on the job - on his return, we presented him with a 'DIY Appendicitis Kit', comprising a couple of miniatures of Scotch (anaesthesia helps ), various kitchen tools including fish knife, corkscrew etc. and most helpful of all, a green plastic apron with the location of pesky organ outlined clearly along with other 'pointers' such as 'cut here', 'shave here', 'big red squishy thing - be careful!'.... Needless to say, he's now a GP/family physician

Prerequisites for me are proper datefont (the 7753 196's didn't solve this ), but most importantly A NICE GENEROUS COAT OF AR!!!!! The old 7750s (Ken's) had this but it strangely disappeared with the second gen models.

My exact thoughts r11co as I'm reading this thread (you still living in "Foreign [censored]land" by the way? ) I feel a monologue coming on, sorry.... Whenever I'm in the US, I absolutely HATE using cash for this reason - it just beggars belief that your Treasury prints notes of almost the same colour (variations of black and dark green) and the same size Sure you have security features but I suggest you go to your local bureaux des changes and check out any medium denomination (usually the counterfeiters' favourites as given less attention) European major currency say a £20 note or a 50€ note, or 100 CHF (Swiss Francs) or 100SEK (Swedish Kronor) and see exactly what we mean. The higher denomination notes have even greater security features that are APPARENT TO THE UNTRAINED NAKED EYE not reliant on marker pens UV lights etc. Try faking an embedded hologram! I remember the old Dutch Guilder when I lived in the NL, gorgeously brightly coloured, sizes ranging from tiny credit card sized notes to massive 1000 fl. notes (one of those babies was worth about $700 of your funny money!!!). Christ, even the makers of Monopoly have caught onto that idea It makes me deeply saddened to hear this happened to a good guy like Longshot - as someone earlier said, don't let it make you cynical, just be careful and smile in the knowledge that karma will come round and give this guy his due...with interest -
Ditto that, although like with a gen, I'd be happy at anything with an 8 in please, preferably 0888

Well well now what is going on here - never seen this before - seller seems to have made his lisiting anonymous, hmm I wonder why Not an aficionado of the site but this doesn't look like 'private auctions' I've seen before - new feature? As I said, the only way to stop some poor bastard being scammed (unless they are shill bids upto now) is for someone to use up one of their zero IDs and bid up to some stupid figure. Anyone?
-
Remember this from a while back when they first launched the p.2002. I appreciate the triple-barreled beauty of the movt, really I do, however IMHO the watch looks like it was designed by someone in the wrong job - it is cluttered and fussy, a bastard compromise between classic and modern design without any flair or complementary features...or to put it another way, like dressing Heidi Klum in Versace
-
*UPDATE* Well the listing is still alive now upto £350 Despite ebay being notified and bidders warned off, ebay still does not see fit to remove this, so much for their [censored] Vero program Anyone have any disposable bidding accounts with zero f/b for just such an occasion? I think at this stage only some spoof bidding will stop this scammer

Glad to see my pessimism was unfounded Time to get those kidneys ready folks

Liverpool 2 PSV 0 - Stevie and Crouchinho This is getting a bit embarrassing - we've now won the group with a game to spare Athens here we come Oh and to top it all off and just complete a joyous week of football for me, the Chavs (Chelsea) got beaten by plucky little Bremen  Somewhere under a mountain of Pam crowns, there'll be a very happy Palpatine

Yes, but there's rust and then there's "Arctic seawater/Barents Sea" rust Just like there's beat-up and then there's "driven over by a 2-tonne Land Rover before being BBQ'd" beat up It's all in the details... -
Hate to [censored] on your parades (esp. poor Chronus, look away now ) and feel free to flame away but I think it's time for a realistic prognosis... I fear/suspect this project is likely DOA primarily due to ETA's discontinuation of the 7753 and existing inventories drying up faster than a menopausal Miss Understood... IMO it would be done by now otherwise, no other major issues to resolve, yet no news from Ken for what appears a very long time. The timeline between 196's was much shorter I recall, perhaps someone can confirm? I'm as patient as the next man here but sometimes it's better to accept likely reality and move on psychologically - after all my 7750 version still gives me great pleasure, more so when I get Angus' dive strap/buckle set and personally there are many more projects out there on which to spend a healthy chunk of disposable cash on As a famous Belgian ( ) writer once said "Passion is a positive obsession. Obsession is a negative passion."

No reason at all, Porto did it, Monaco did it and I believe the Scum scraped through back in the distant past . No offense but I'd rather meet next round or QFs - later on there's too much at stake and we always play better when up against it, so to speak. Hmmm, just like McCoist ('Man Utd were poor' ) he may be an infamous Bluenose ('Gers, Chavs and Toffees) but for that moment against Olimpiacos he couldn't help himself and let rip with aforementioned quote. Pathetically he denied saying it immediately afterwards reverting to his usual blatant anti-LFC bias, before realising it was a memorable line, probably his only one...what a numpty Tonight's match at Anfield - hopefully not a borefest but an exhibition of great football played by two slick professional teams who rather than scrabble about for a point here and there, qualified for the KO stages two weeks ago with room to spare.

Well well well....seems my prayers (once again like my Kobenhavn dream a fortnight ago) were answered. I knew the 'Tic had the beating of them, just had to believe it. Congrats JTB another great European night to remember, all it needed was another Andy Gray classic line like "you beauty, what a hit son, WHAT a hit!!!" Left hook from the Danes, uppercut from the 'Tic, now all it needs is for Benfica to finish off the Scum once and for all. Here's looking forward to a Celtic v Liverpool KO match in March! As an aside, I was keeping half an eye on the match during routine surgery (ok actually an Omega bracelet adjustment ) and when that free-kick curled beautifully into the corner I jumped up with excitement and stabbed my thumb on one of the pins OWWWwwwwww......now what is it they say about pain and pleasure?
-
yes I have it actually - it's the standard rep skinny 20mm seamaster rubber strap - only available on the cheaper asian model Notice the auction is still going - hope to see it removed today
