I didn't even check to see if the bracelet fit into the end link. I will have to check that as well. I know that 571 end links are pretty rare. I have seen 78350 bracelets with 557 end links. Do these fit the case? Thanks!!!

Hi Guys, I just got my 571 end links that were left out of my DW case kit. The problem is that these things aren't anywhere near close to fitting the case. They are to wide and the spring bar isn't anywhere near the hole. I was wondering if anyone else that has one of his kits can say anything about them. I was wondering if his V72 and 7750 cases take different end links. I have been trying to shape them to see if I can get them closer but thought I would ask here while I take a break. Thanks for any help or ideas!!!!

Hi Guys, I was thinking of buying a NDT bezel assembly they have marked for the 5517 for my 5513 project, and was wondering if they will accept a genuine insert without any modifications. I sent them an email a few days ago and haven't heard back from them yet. I haven't dealt with them before and was hoping someone on here knows. I was also wondering if their eBay store is Natalie's Passion. Thanks in advance!!!!!!

Thanks for the reply. That is what I was afraid of. My main concern is having to fit a bezel insert. I hate modding a genuine insert to fir the bezel. Has anyone used the bezel assembly from NDT? Could I fit that assembly on my MBW with a genuine crystal and will a genuine insert just snap in? Thanks!!!

I was hoping someone would be able to tell me how I would be able to tell if a retaining ring and bezel assembly was genuine for the 5513 or 1680. I see many of the on eBay but am really hesitant to spend the money on something and not know. I was also wondering about how much on would cost. Thanks!!!

Thanks Alligoat! I did look at Ofrei yesterday to see if their crystals matched anything that I had measured. I have an extra 127 that I was saving and decided to try and put it on the case and it slipped right on. But like you said, I am probably going to have to sand or machine the retaining ring down a little. You don't happen to know how tight the retaining ring needs to be do you? I think that the OD of the 127 was something like 30.40mm and the retaining ring was 30.19mm. Thanks!!!

Is it possible to get one made without the serif font? I don't know what it would involve time and cost wise to get one made with the correct font and silver background, but I would be interested.

Hi Guys, I have one of the newer 1680 MBW/MBK cases and was wondering if a genuine crystal will fit or not. I tried to fit a Clark's 19 on it and it was too tight. I ended up having to sand the inside of the crystal and repolish it. I was wondering if it would be worth it to machine the case down a little to fit a genuine crystal. Here are the measurements that I have from the case and retaining ring: Measurement taken from case: 28.20mm Measurement taken from inside of retaining ring: 30.19 mm Just for the information, the space for the bezel insert measured 36.60mm. I don't know if I am taking my measurements from the wrong position on the case, but I just measured the case I have and I came up with a 26.3mm opening. If that is indeed true, then I don't see much that I would have to change if the NDT dial is indeed 26mm. Can anyone else confirm this? Thanks!!!

Thanks for the opinions guys! I am assuming that if you are recommending the NDT dial, then I would have to trim the dial and also cut off the dial feet. If you don't mind me asking, what makes the NDT dial more accurate and desirable? I also notice that they have several options. I notices on some of their dials that the 3,6, and 9 markers have flairs on the ends as if the lume hasn't been completely filled in. Is that accurate? Thanks in advance!!!!!

Thanks for the replies guys. I should say that the dial will be going on a 2846 movement. I have also hard that the Yuki dials have to be trimmed to fit into the MBW/MBK cases. Not sure on the NDT dials. I understand that the 5512 and 5513 are different in terms of dials and movements. I wasn't aware of other differences. I do like the 5512 but there is something appealing about the simple 5513 dial. Thanks!!!!

Hi guys, I have a future project for a 5513 and am starting to think about dials. The case I have is the new MBW/MBK 1680/5513 series, so I know that I am limited to options. I was wondering what the thoughts were on the MBK 5513 dial from ETZ. Is the 5512 any better than the 5513? I am not an expert and was hoping that they would chime in. Thanks!!!!!

Thanks for the information. I haven't worked with counterbores before and didn't quite know what they were. I looked them up and they seem to be the right tool that I am looking for. I am going to wait until I have some tubes so I can measure the size counterbore I need. Thanks again!!!!

Not to belabor the issue, but I was also wondering if a 4mm end mill would recut the countersink for the crown tube. I don't have one on hand right now, but the other countersinks in my other cases measure about 4mm. Thanks!!!
