  5. I just got my first Breitling, and made a custom Coach for this one. Super Avenger....One of the most beautiful pieces ever owned... I cant wait to see your new shoes fitted! Let me know when the package arrives!
  6. 1. I just purchased a wonderful piece from P8B here on the forum and the end links were misplaced in the packaging by me.....I need a replacement bracelet or end links for that one. 2. The Ocean Racer that came with it is too short for my wrists. So, I would like to trade the rubber pieces or pick up additional rubber straps for this. This has to be one of the most beautiful watches Ive ever held btw.... If anyone can point me to the right source for these or has pieces or bracelets lying around, I'd appreciate it. Pics soon....

  8. I wonder if this is one of the members here....Nice but seemingly outrageous price...
  9. Mods please nuke this if inappropriate. I posted a want add for these cases or watches but I wanted to post here in case any of you contemplating selling either a complete working or non-working watch or case...
  10. Believe it or not, most people, like 99.5% wont even know what type of what you even have on, let alone if the date wheel should be closer to the dial....I have seen gen watches that look similar to the one Lanikai posted...
  11. 75mm-80mm should be close to the middle. 75 would probably be a hair short while 80 might be a hair long. Mine is 7.5 and 80 is just about perfect.
  12. I make my own for the buckle to sit in the middle regardless of the thickness of the strap. If I know the wrist size of my customer, I will make the male portion of the strap to line up to the middle hole as well so they have room to wear it a little tighter or a little looser. I supplied one of mine to a coworker and he enjoyed the fact that the buckle was not in the center(my wrist is bigger...). It all depends. I find standard straps from any manufacturer generally to be too short. It all depends on the look you want and the comfort level...
  13. I don't know a way without darkening. Since. Make my own, I don't worry too much. Most leather can take moisture as long As it isn't salt water. I use rubber or bracelets for swimming.
  14. By the way, a trade secret.... The thread you can use to stitch the strap is nylon crochet thread Comes in many sizes. Your gator looks to be a size 2 or so....But dont tell anyone I told you....
  15. There is a nylon thread sold at sewing places and the like. You can use that to sew it up. The needle itself can be used to punch a hole. Be very careful, the needls are sharp. The store should also carry heavy duty needles for stitching leather as well. If its a tear in the leather, you can glue tubes into the lug end as a permanent fix if this is for Pams...This will both keep the leather from ripping any further as well as ensure you have a very strong end. Rubber cement sold at HD will work. Get a toothpick and smear glue inside of the strap lug end, let it set for 15 minutes or so and then place the tube inside. it should hold. Let the glue dry for a couple hours before any heavy use.
