I get it about the contrast, I've actually thought about other straps. I love the Assolumente- do you think that would be a good combo? The other thing, this OEM and high end straps are like $300. This hobby is killing me. I have a gen maroon croc on my 005 rep- looks nice.

What strap would you guys recommend? Actually in person the strap is great- the pix give it a blue tint and grainy. One of the best calf straps I've seen.

Thanks alot guys. Especially appreciate a stamp of approval from Oncyte, you have some awesome PAMs. It's a very nice piece, COSC and really not seen around alot. Also about $1000 - 1500 less than the regular Black Seal or typical hand wind PAMs like the 111 or 005. Design wise, the dial is the same as the 005. I have to say I compared it to my H Factory 005 that rep really is something, holds up well next to this gen.

Opps, just picked up this gen Rad 380. First Logo Rad with Sausage dial as far as I know. Also seems to be cheapest PAM out there.

I'm not grooving on those green indices. I think the gen does have a greenish tinge, but not that strong. PAM experts.... what do you think?

Ingy is a very nice and reliable watch. I've had 2 BP with PR break within a month. The Portuguese is a known headache with sec @ 6. The Pilot chronos are nice and fairly reliable in my experience. If you want the best- get a Concepta with gen movement

Cheapie but nice SOSF @ Hike- Very nice APROO

Swiss UPO- older style with the dreaded Happy Feet. @ Camiel- Congrts on the gen Rolex. Hard to see but that's a nice watch.

I don't think the majority of people have the ability or inclination to mod watches. I know that I don't. I'm happy that I can change the strap and size SOME SS bracelets. At this stage in life, I don't expect to ever be able to tear down a watch or replace a movement. Just about priorities; I don't fix my own car either.

Just going to Rolex Camp to pick up this kid. $600 for 2 week stay!

God knows what the gen price would be. The watch is alot more than the plain ole PO.

Yes try the nail file, it works well. I've even used it on some gen bracelets that I wanted abit smoother. Welcome, as they say, it gets addicting. The thrill of the hunt and the little brown packages that arrive. I have 60+ reps (and a number of gens), I'm a lifer. You may consider getting out before it's too late.LOL
