  1. The previous days i was looking one for myself that i consider it to be both bold (sporty) and for a special occasion! It's Hamilton x-wind automatic! I love it
  2. :D What about the previous question Toadtorrent?? Will you give us a clue?
  3. Yes i'm also looking for a gen leather "scrap" for my BCE (rep). Will the genuine "scrap" fit the rep case?? Guys if anyone knows....you are welcome!
  4. That's peculiar How is it possible for a fixed - on the movement - dial to rotate??? Any pics available??
  5. Count me in for one of them...This chance is once in a lifetime
  6. I faced exactly the same problem almost a year ago with my BCE...I had also posted something with a lot of responses that helped me a lot JuniorNA but there is no need to go back to old threads for a matter that can be solved right on this thread you opened So...... In my opinion and according to the experience i gained so far you should not alter the angle in which the watch is placed on the winder...The default one should be just fine...The watch winder should be adjusted to working in CW direction and definitely NOT CCW!!! What Shundi said about TPDs is correct so what you must also do is reduce the interval between winding operations from 3 hours that is now to 1 and a half hour! My winder works for ten minutes every 1 and a half hour and the results are miraculous! It was left for a month on the winder and it kept perfect time....! I think by following my advice you will solve this problem (it is indeed a great problem having your watch's date and time adjusted every now and then ) Try it and let me know JuniorNA I hope i helped...
  7. The CEO of Breitling must have been hit by double heart attack and triple brainstorm after looking at the pics you posted...Watches for "my little pony" enthusiasts!!!!
  8. Stick with our dealers and you won't be disappointed! Even if you get disappointed (though this option is rare, it is part of the game) there is always good mood to find a solution to the problem that emerged...! Have a good time and read what the people in this forum have written...Most of the times their opinion and experiences save you a lot of money and trouble (from every aspect)!
  9. What the heck....?? Man this "watch" is terrible! Put it in the drawer again
  10. Really nice watch...Gold was made to fit this watch!! What can i say?? I love my BCE on graphite but looking at your TT BCE...it is spectacular Enjoy it!
  11. The third watch is definitely a Seiko Velatura Kinetic Direct Drive. Find it in the following address --> http://www.seikowatches.com/products/velat...kinetic_dd.html
  12. That would be the ideal case...but when something critical (such as a mvt) changes lots of accompanying things change...Time will show You are right Fidestro but don't forget that innovations and upgrades take their cost and sometimes an ambitious company - or a company that respects itself and wants to stand face to face with the competition - doesn't get back but a portion of the initial capital it invested This move Breitling just made is certainly "a great step for the company and a small step for the potential buyers" which will be judged by several other factors such as price fixing! If watches based on the new movement are far more expensive than current watches with "Valjouxes" then it's starting to lose the game and the competitive advantage it gained with the release of its new mvt...Just thoughts...Again time will show!
  13. Always updated and informed Toadtorrent...Thanks, it was very informative & useful
  14. After all this fuss about chrono pushers, long and short and tiny hands i would like to ask an almost silly question: How could i use the "TACHYMETRE" on the rehaut of my BCE....That was a question i always wanted to make but i was afraid of being characterized completely NOOB Does someone know (maybe Andreww)??
  15. @ Toadtorrent: No problem Toadtorrent your advice is always a great contribution and your guide is something that has saved me from a lot of mistakes...Iknew about the chronos cause i have the same watch :D @ Wantareplica: Just take care of your watch and enjoy it in health!!
  16. Ignore previous post...My mistake Well in fact they are...He must unscrew them both if he wants to operate the chronos! But it's something easy that he won't have a problem in executing biggrin.gif
  17. It seems that both me and Toadtorrent were writing a response at the same time...So just follow Toadtorrent's advice and you will not fail with your watch!Being aware of how it works helps towards having your watch for a long time and in good "shape"
  18. The regular seconds hand that you refer to is the one with "B" mark on its tail??? If yes this is the chrono seconds hand and in order to start it you should first read Toadtorrent's guide and then unscrew the top up button of your watch and press it so as to release the chrono gears and set it in function!! BUT read first the guide cause you must know how to stop the chrono in order not to jam the watch (sometimes this happens, too)!
  19. People are cutting down on things of everyday use and first priority, let alone watch servicing and maintenance which do not exist even as thoughts! A friend of mine is a great watch fan but due to the economic crisis he was not able to buy the watch he had in mind...so when his father-in-law asked him what is that he desires the most as a gift before the upcoming wedding he grabbed the opportunity and he answered without hesitation...a Tissot Touch watch So only a marriage saves us during the economic crisis!
  20. It rings not only a bell but a whole monastery full of bells I hope mistakes of the past won't be repeated...
  21. Could not be said in a better way!! +1 for me and it was taken from my mouth
  22. This shows that this company has balls...It defies a whole status quo by making its own movement (but it's not the only company doing this)! The problem though from now on is that rep factories will have to adapt their replication techniques around the new movement (when a watch with that mvt comes out), otherwise the new rep production will be a dead give away, if it's based on the old Valjoux mvt Correct me if i'm wrong...!
