  1. Fshaw! I just sold an unopened sealed box of Pokemon CCG Fossil 1st ed booster packs on ebay.
  2. The 2894 is considerably slimmer than a 7750. Once you add the cogs needed to move the seconds, you're looking at a ridiculous height. The Monaco is a slim chrono and a modded 7750 won't fit vertically. Like I said, wishful thinking is all well and good, but you're wishing for a clunky inaccurate version. I'd love a 2894 rep, however. I'm just realistic about its prospects.
  3. Yay! Nice pictures.
  4. It must be easier? Why? The Monaco uses an ETA 2894 movement, a movement that has seconds at 3. A movement that NO REPLICA OF exists. The Monaco will never be accurately replicated until someone comes up with a movement that works like a 2894. Yes, it's a dream, but it's not a realistic one. ... unless of course you mean the rather undesirable Monaco non-chrono. That's an Automatic with seconds-at-six, or a crappy quartz, neither of which would set the rep world alight.
  5. A replacement PO rep is cheaper. No-one has worked out of the gen bezels fit as far as I know.
  6. I don't know how I can help as I don't have access to spare bezels or inserts. If you decide to get a replacement, my article mentioned above explains how to change them, however.
  7. Sure, I'll send it to you in 2009.
  8. The pearl is built into the bezel, not the insert. I've not heard of anyone selling replica replacement bezels.
  9. Nice try, mate. I travel with it on the leather strap as it doesn't fit in my travel case with the rubber dive strap on. If you want, I can lend you my rubber strap so you can see if you like it enough to buy one ...
  10. Yes, I am - I do my own mods and repairs for myself. However, I haven't decided whether or not to offer my services to everyone. I don't have enough cash to hold a stock of spares, for instance, and I can make far more money doing UNIX consulting. Have you not got a local watch repairer?
  11. All good advice, but I can't imagine anyone willingly joining the old replica-watches-guide these days. It's a lawless necrophiliac graveyard of crap. They'll likely hang any noobs asking for Grade AAA subs out to dry and have themselves an old-fashioned lynching. Yee-Haw!!! Oh, then they'll post pictures of their bazookas, the Spacktards! If you're after other replica watch sites, your best bet is to get a VIP membership here, but if you're determined to wander off, try RWI or the newer RepGeek. They're much less likely to confuse you with twaddle.
  12. It's from my Planet Ocean Bezel breakdown: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=20836
  13. You'll need a new bezel and insert as the pearl is part of the bezel. Your best bet may be simply to buy an Asian uPO. :-(
  14. I have found that when travelling, I seem to pick the same three watches every time. click for 1600px wallpaper version While I take the Planet Ocean off the steel and put it on leather (rubber doesn't fit in my two-watch travel case), the rest are all as pictured. What watches do you find yourself travelling with? Share pictures if possible, piease.
  15. Today is the PO 45 on BOB for Breitling black leather. Yes, I need a studio shot of this watch and strap as I seem to be wearing it like this a lot. Tomorrow will be the IWC 3717 on brown Moocroc.
  16. Best made rep ever. You know you want one ...
  17. :thumbsupsmileyanim: :thumbsupsmileyanim: Glad it got there eventually. That was a sphincter-puckering wait. I hope you get as much enjoyment out of it as I get from mine.
  18. Water-based glue.
  19. The rumours were that organised crime had the factories sewn up. No-one but their factories made Subs and their factories were not that good.
  20. Not true. While Sly may have got free Panerais, he bought a lot. Unless there is an official sponsorship on the cards, most actors have to buy/rent/borrow like the rest of the world. This is why you will see a lot of actors wearing their own watches in movies.
  21. Definitely? I'd say it's not an Orb.
  22. ... and he's no longer in this hobby. If someone wants to buy me some Superlume, I'll learn how to do it.
  23. That's a lot of Breitlings. Nice pics.
  24. The slow beat versions are easier to replace with genuine 7750, but you can do it with the high beat. I installed genuine ETA datewheels in this one as I have no fear of the Asian 7750. Here's a picture of it after the wheel replacement:
  25. Fast Beat. Why not?
