... and Angus was the fourth person in the price-fixing cartel.
However, mine came from Precious Time, a non-cartel dealer. The whole "we're the only ones that'll ever sell this watch" [censored] was just marketing speak to grab the early sales. Yes they were exclusive at the beginning, but that didn't last.
As I don't want to delay the AR run, I'm going to spearhead the third run and drop out of this one. Maybe we can get a Europe-only run, Chiefy.
Sorry for the trouble.
I really don't want my house move to cause problems for your AR run, but I'll be in Scotland from April 2 onwards. If I pack my crystal press in my hand luggage, I can be set up on the 3rd to pop crystals. On the 4th or 5th, all our boxes arrive and I'll be snowed under.
If people can mail me their watches to my new address before I get there, I may be able to make a post office run to pick up any packages that don't fit in our letterbox on the 2nd or 3rd, but I'm moving to a town of 600 inhabitants without a post office and Mrs Pugwash is the only driver. I'll be at the mercy of others.
Maybe I'm just trying to do too much.
I have the IWC and it's fairly straight-forward. It's basically a simple small case wrapped around a 7750 and I'm actually finding it difficult to fault.
Ok, no AR. That's its fault. It'd be a better watch with AR.

Yes, I like it, but I like the Carrera too, just not with those cartoony red hands. The later model, as worn in Crank, is better. Black with silver-ringed subdials.
Robust, bomb-proof, everything you want from a chrono movement. The Seagull ST19 is an unsung hero, never getting its praise under its real name. It's Lemania this, Venus that, but never Seagull ST19.
ALL PRAISE THE MIGHTY SEAGULL ST19!
Sorry, I got a bit carried away.
Yes, buy any watch with one of these without fear.
Hey there. Good to see you here. You should come here more often as I can't get to RWI for some reason.
The AR really is something else. No polarising filter needed!
Seeing as you've not completed your profile, I can't be sure of your location, but using your local time, I'd guess Europe.
In Europe, there's only really one choice and it's the choice I made: Precious Time. He's got them in stock and as you can see, they're not crap.
I hope this isn't starting for a week or so as I'm bang in the middle of my house move at the end of next week. If we need to have everything organised before April 1, I'm going to have to pull out of the group and of offering my crystal removal/fitting services.
Chiefy, when are you hoping to kick this off?
