  1. "So Yesterday." Oh my, that's so, like, five minutes ago. y'know? Fer sher.
  2. Search here for testing. Far too many articles have been written on it. No, there is no risk. These Breitlings, like the Navitimers, are not the most water-resistant watches, even in genuine. Don't expect a diving watch.
  3. I use a Leatherman Wave's sharp blade on the tighter ones. On regular bezels, it's this knife: It's very solid and can be opened with one hand.
  4. You must have missed my Ultimate Planet Ocean bracelet post then. I recommended getting a watchsmith to size your strap as it's the toughest I've seen.
  5. How about EU-based? I'm charging the same as flav does for popping the crystals out and replacing them, only in the EU.
  6. In some more recent cases, they do work from a genuine, but in most, they work of photographs which is why some dials are wrong and cases don't take genuine parts.
  7. What happened was she gave me half of one of her addresses and half of another. I'd post the amusing tale in her own words, but I'm banned on RWI where I documented the whole entertaining affair. Ok, I've trawled my email: "Oh, sorry. I made a mistake. I have two address, and I mixed them. Sorry. It is my promble. Did you left the address on your package? If so, the package will come back to you. Do you have some No. that I can check here?" Like I said, I did eventually get a replacement, but I was waiting for 6-8 weeks. Nothing wrong with her watches, though.
  8. That's very good for you. I'm very happy for you. It doesn't change the fact, however, that she got her own return address wrong. Nor does it change the fact that I got a very good watch off her, eventually.
  9. Nice try. You know what you were saying ... Also back on topic, I sent a defective Navitimer back to Ruby once, and she got her own address wrong ...
  10. Put me down for two for now. I think my GST needs some AR! ...and another, maybe a PAM or something.
  11. That sounds like a Haiku The Lume falls off my Ultimate Planet Ocean like leaves in autumn
  12. It's posher, usually, but this one looks like a Tudor rep movement. Sounds like the ETA shortage is taking its toll.
  13. Tight. It's a little tricky and is the only part of the watch that even remotely says "replica".
  14. River's looks better to me.
  15. Apparently, he's usually very good at replying until you've handed over the cash ... (I hear he's moving house at the moment.) If you're desperate, I got mine from Precious Time. He's got them in stock and is replying to his mail.
  16. Yeah, the bracelets on these Ultimate POs are the toughest I've come across. Excellent tale, I hope someone learns from it.
  17. Don't lie to them. They've got you fair and square. Try to get out as cheaply as possible.
  18. Excellent news.
  19. Sick-inducing, sure.
  20. The soft-edged numbers were what turned me off every other 'lumpy' Breitling.
  21. Give it a go. Order a decent replica watch. See what happens.
  22. I'm not an expert on this watch, so I can't really go into its history or any interesting facts. Besides, you're not here for that. You're here for the pictures, right? So, without any further ado, here we go. It arrived on a steel bracelet, but I only just reinstalled that for today's photos. I bought the optional extra strap. It's the best rep strap I've ever got. Amazingly crisp dial. The lume is decent, too. Finally, a photo you can see the crystal in. Nice AR. Probably accurate caseback. I don't really know. This Steelfish is powered by an ETA 2824, I believe. It's allegedly water-resistant to 1000M so I don't want to open it up and look inside. It's got 5mm thick sapphire. No polarising filter was used at any point in this photoshoot. That's all, folks! Once again, apologies for not really having any text. edit: more pics on page 4
  23. The 2824 and 2836 are different heights so the stem/crown is in a different place.
  24. Aww!!! It's Ickle Pawwie!!! Yay!
  25. I've got less than 30. Hopefully, I've got less than 25 now as that's 24 in the boxes and one on the wrist.
