    Intbnational? Aquattmer? I like it
  2. For Sunday, it's the Sub.
  3. Ok, if I told you one existed, would it change anything? Every so often, it gets posted and reposted, but nobody ever actually goes and looks for it. It's now pinned as the topmost sticky in the Knowledge Base. ps. The intermediate click is to set the date on the 7750. Just because there's no datewheel doesn't mean they can remove that click.

They seem to go for between $10,000 and $12,000 so it'll probably sell.
  5. The Black/White scheme (as opposed to the White/Black of the Panda) is called a Domino.
  6. I considered trying to negotiate changing it for the blue-handed one, but in the end, I decided that I wanted the one I ordered with the gold hands. This is an aspect of the 7750 movement. They're not thin.

One of the all-time cool watches.
  8. Silix-Prime.
  9. Jay hasn't yet sent out my Portuguese as he's sourcing my replacement 183 to go in the same envelope.
  10. Once more, an excellent post.
  11. It would appear that DOA is a side effect of the postal system then. I've had four problem watches in the history of rep buying, only one of which was apparent upon purchase: The rest showed up in the first week and could all have been a product of being booted around a postal depot. The important thing for me was that in every instance the dealer has been stand-up and has sorted me out. Two of those problems were from dealers[1] that inspect their watches. It's not that problems don't happen, but for me, it's important that the dealer stands behind his product. I suspect price and after-sales are two of the most important parts for me. [1] Not TTK, before you ask. I've only bought one watch off TTK so far and it's still running very, very well. Yes, I knocked the bezel pearl out somehow, but that's hardly dealer error. You appear to type faster than me. I agree.
  12. ... and today's lesson is: Listen to Ubi. He's not making this stuff up.
  13. The forum will be full of posturing roid-raged Narnians*, so the "Beat his mom up" posts seem perfectly in place. *Narnian: Someone so far in the closet they're in Narnia.
  14. Some people login to the forum and find they accidentally posted something silly the night before, because they'd had a few beers. Not this guy ... http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=885503
  15. In the movie business, they're called 'props'.
  16. You need that 112 modding. The cannon pinion is too flush and I bet it's got a working Swan's Neck, which we now know are troublesome. Also, the lume needs dulling down and it needs a thinner crown.
  17. Ah, it's pub turfing-oot time I see.
  18. It takes a few more. I was upset when she left me. Funny, but I just PMed you congrats before noticing you'd noticed, Welcome to the loser fold. Edit:
  19. These two are impossible to guarantee for drop-shippers.
  20. Um, the $315 includes the price for a 2892. The difference between a 2892 and a 2824 is how much?
  21. So, we've seen what TTK states he does to every watch that goes out. It's pretty impressive stuff, for sure. So, not wanting to play favourites, what levels of detail can we expect from other dealers? With Precious Time and Narikaa, as they deliver from the EU, we can be sure that they check their watches personally and they take their own pictures, but what about the others? Does it matter? What aspect of watch pricing is more important to you? After-sales? Knowing what you're getting is what's pictured? Speed of delivery and response? Try not to deliberately provoke the dealers or insult them as this isn't the time or place. Let's go for both the positive and negative, but constructively. ps. This post is primarily a result of the sabotaging of the other thread as the content was lost in the noise.
  22. I'm glad no-one's fighting over the 16610, cos I've bagsied it! You can fight amongst yourselves for the vintage.
  23. Well, I'm sorry it was too dark for me to make the effort to take pics, and I'm equally sorry that it's taken me this long to post a report. It was an excellent evening and we even had dinner! The surprise though was when Ryyannon pulled out a Genuine MoonWatch and I was able to compare it with my rep. There several glaring differences, but I found mine captured the essence of Moonitude that was needed. Golfie and me were wearing Panerais and Ryannon was wearing some unusual miniature French gen from the 20th Century. Once again, our man Ryyannon came prepared with a spare Habana in his pocket, and it made a great accompaniment to the beer. All in all, I'm sure we'll be having another one soon, and this time, Ryyannon, Golfie, Usil and myself will await the arrival of more locals. *Pugwash raises his glass.*
  24. Move out of Macro, take the pic, crop it.
