If you want to get a seconds-at-9 pre-2000 Daytona, you can get them with the Asian 7750 (in 7753 config) movement. Same layout as the Navitimer, PAM196, etc.

This is why I get a pay-as-you-go SIM for my mobile if I'm in a country for more than a few days. You get humped, but you get humped in advance. There are a lot of dodgy scams, even including phonecard scams. Good luck with your credit card company. I hope you get it resolved quickly and cheaply.

Ever paid for anything with a credit card? If so, that's your potential list. The usual places that get done for selling numbers are restaurants, especially if they take your card away to swipe it. Also, small gas stations seem to get done too.
