What's the chances it's a home-made FrankenRegWatch?

Your camera doesn't generate noise at low ISO; Mine does. This is the point.

I feel this one getting away from me, and I really fancied a RegWatch.

This still doesn't help. For those that need it, here's the watch so far:

Latest? My Silix 111h is like that. I noticed and failed to be that bothered.

Noise Ninja and the like just remove CCD issues: they deal with problems of digital cameras, not of photographers. Noise is a side-effect of CCDs in digital photography. No matter how good a photographer, ye cannae change the laws of physics.

I like crocodiles and lizards and snakes and stuff and therefore find it a little difficult to consider wearing their skin as a watch strap. This restricts my choice of strap purchases, apart from I bloody hate cows and have no qualms about wearing leather from moo-cows on my watches. Luckily, you can get fake croc made from cow, and I'm sure it has a proper name, but I hereby dub it MooCroc, in case it doesn't. Nakiraa recently posted where he got his gaudy orange and black PO strap, and I found they did MooCroc straps in the style of the genuine Omega MoonWatch straps. This was not to be turned down, especially as they were cheap. As cheap as me! 11.48€ including delivery and they accept paypal. It's called Croco Elegance. It's no as padded as the genuine, but it'll do. I'm sure they do a more padded one, to be honest. Anyway, enough banter, here's the pics:

JTFC! That's a bit tight! f32??? I have neither the lenses nor the lighting for this. It helps explain the flat focus DoF on your shots though.

Then it's a good job you're not the owner. Customer service is about more than just selling watches. Nice story and I wish I could pick up a Sub like that.

So, my "Just colour and light balancing and maybe a bit of dust removal" was pretty much on the ball. That's cheered me up. The EXIF data claims it's taken at f32, but I find that hard to believe. It looks more like f8-f11 to me.

Hmm ... looking at the first two pics, there's a glaring error. On the Gen, the date says 20 and on the rep, it says 23. I couldn't be doing with a rep that's 3 days fast ... /me ducks Yeah, finally the Zilla is freely available. I don't like it, rep or gen, but I know a lot of you will be happy it's not $1000 any more.

You're supposed to tell people, not just leave it. Nothing personal, by the way, but you sound difficult to trade with.
