  1. You know how to lock and delete threads. Good enough for me ...
  2. They're crap. There, I said it.
  3. It's been like this for a while.
  4. They're 4100 here in Paris. They sell as many as they get so don't ever have to discount them. The problem is that if you aren't willing to pay list for one, there are a dozen people behind you waving fistfuls of dosh ready.
  5. Looks like a CGI concept car concept.
  6. Why not get everyone that's not sold their stuff to put "available" in the title and nuke the rest in a week. If they're still selling and can't get to their computers for a week, they wouldn't be able to reply to a buyer anyway. This way, not listening to an admin has consequences.
  7. Hey man, the cool don't need a test to confirm coolness, let alone a button. Heyyyyy.
  8. It's ok, I guessed. Excellent vitriolic rant, by the way.
  9. I wish I had Photoshop at work ...
  10. Yup, can everyone fill in the country bit in their profile? It makes stuff like this so much easier to answer.
  11. Wow, that's a funny point of view. DHL will not be ripping off the gubmint, they'll be going head-to-head with IP owners if the legislation goes through. That is a different lawyer-fuelled ball-game altogether, and one involving piles and piles of money. ps. As for the "Don't live in the EU and don't care very much. Don't care about the little intracies of their legal system." joke, I should respond with something belittling the age of your country or the fact that your laws are so advanced that they let people get away with this [censored] or even that your laws are so progressive that you didn't abolish slavery until the 1960s or something equally pithy, but that would be putting down the rest of the US members here I actually like and respect. Just pretend I did and everything will be back to normal.
  12. I think you already know the answer to that one.
  13. What colour is the sky in your world? Seriously, if you can't see the difference, I don't see how any amount of debate will change your mind. I said it's a scam, you said otherwise. Several members and an admin agreed with me, you tried a different tack, ignoring the points I made. There's no way anyone is going to come out of this looking clever, so I'll leave you and your sour business practices on your own here before you drag me down to your level and beat me with experience. ps. It's still a scam. /me runs away. ner ner ner.
  14. So, you can keep your opinion about the stupid US branch, but Tissot (Swatch) came through as they should. Great ending. Enjoy your Gen.
  15. Ok, at this point I really don't know where to start. Needless to say, I don't think you get it. Differences between this PoS site and Rolex ... ok, Rolex pay for R&D and advertising. They also pay tax, import/export duty, have an after-sales service, warranty, etc. If you actually do the maths, which has been done here so many times, you realise Rolex is making a fair profit. Also, if a Rolex AD sells you a Submariner, you know that a shop across the street won't be able to go much cheaper. This scam site is ten times the price of our dealers. They are selling something available much cheaper elsewhere for a vastly inflated price by lying to their customers. I fail to see Rolex, Panerai or TAG Heuer doing that. Genuine watches are not really that overpriced, and just saying they are doesn't make it any different. This website is demonstrably overpriced.
  16. The Italian police got two subs off him. He wasn't wearing Daytonas.
  17. ... apart from the lies and deception? Come on, it's a scam. It's precisely the kind of thing this website is here to inform against. Leeching off gullible people isn't an honourable business idea: It stinks and you know it.
  18. Yay, I'm still cool!
  19. I'm awaiting Admin confirmation over the lowball post to see how this plays out. In the meantime ...
  20. I can concurr that this works. The IWC is the watch I wear when I go into ADs now. I'd not dare my Sub or 111h, to be honest, as it's just too embarassing to be caught out. The IWC, however, passed the most intense of closed-case inspections as the AD pointed out how identical the font on the date wheel was to the 7750-based Hamiltons. He appeared to know his stuff too, as he pushed the other sales people aside as he judged me a potential customer. The sales team wasn't subtle at all in checking out what I was wearing.
  21. Congrats, Chris.
  22. I spoke to a Seiko AD and they also said that it would only be available in the Seiko Centre, so I'm off to take a look later. Thanks for that.
  23. More of the same here No, I don't know anything about these reps.
