  1. Hambone, get educated: http://www.templetons.com/brad/copymyths.html
  2. You don't understand copyright. If you take a photo, you own the copyright. You don't need to do anything to declare it copyrighted. You want to hear of cases of reposted articles being pulled because of copyright? Look around; it happens all the time.
  3. I have a new watch. Oh my. It's big, by the way. Very big. It came from Nanuq, and it was covered in Alaskan snow with a whiff of Sarah Palin. Still, if Chuck Norris needed a watch (he doesn't; he decides what time it is) then this is the watch he'd wear.
  4. Hold on, you didn't report it the morning you found out? Well, there really isn't much they can do. However, you'll need a crime number for the insurance, so I hope they at least gave you that.
  5. Training people to skate in bear costumes? I suspect in an ice rink.
  6. Everything you ever write is protected by copyright unless you explicitly place it in the public domain, which is effectively what By-Tor has done. Search engines that cache your copyright do so under fair use, which doesn't infringe your rights. Yes, that means you cannot repost my pictures without my permission - although I allow anything I do to be used for non-commercial purposes as long as it's attributed. One can, in fact, post a picture on the internet and then sue someone for reposting it elsewhere, without needing to state that they cannot do so. Don't assume posting on the internet is the same as relinquishing your rights.
  7. Someone who knows he can do so without waking up the residents. Looks like he was right, too. I hope you were insured!
  8. Unfortunately, most probably you are.
  9. That blog does controversy-for-hits type articles. I would bet favourable odds he doesn't own, and has never owned, an AP. "Believe those who search for truth. Doubt those who claim to have found it" - Andr
  10. He changed my password, but I reset it. Now he's accusing me of spoofing the accounts. What fun. Fake By-Tor made an appearance, too.
  11. I would pretty much stick with one watch per brand and I'd need a dress watch. The Portochrono is ideal, and that means no IWC sport watch. It's a tough world, the three-watch world.
  12. I'll humour you: Portuguese Chrono (White and Gold), Daytona (see Freddy333 for the exact model) and 42mm PO. Ask me again tomorrow and it'll be different.
  13. The reason I collect replicas is because I can't pick just three. If I could, I'd get them in gen.
  14. It happens. Also, who manages the 77Joshua Photobucket? I know Gran has posted pictures from that bucket. Coincidence?
  15. I don't think I can be described as particularly active on RWI.
  16. Here's a clarification I posted over on RepGeek: If you've seen my tutorials over at Klink's new site, Replicat, then you could easily assume that I was invited to post them, or at least my permission was requested prior to their being posted on their forum. Well, here I am taking a stance and making things clear. No permission was asked to reproduce my work. I do not endorse the site and I would ask you, out of respect for myself and other pillars of the replica community whose work has been plagiarised, not to participate in the forum. A forum is defined by its members and how they are treated. Replicat is doomed to fail for this reason; don't waste your bandwidth. Feel free to republish this statement on any replica forums where I'm not active.
  17. Zeus, Have you been following me?
  18. Not true, I'm afraid. Buying a loaf of bread, for instance.
  19. On a counterfeit trading site? Don't be daft. Yes, I'm registered on the site just so no-one pretends to be me.
  20. Have a play with a Mac before you decide to switch; you may not like it. I believe you will, but there's a chance it just isn't right for you. Then again, it'll run Windows, if you don't like Mac OSX.
  21. How about the Aquatimer non-chrono ... Oh, and yes, the fifty fathoms would be nice.
  22. Just see how it runs when you get it. If you decide you'll be keeping it for a few years, consider a service, but it'll be around $200.
  23. Much like I'll never return full-time to RWI until I get an apology for the Rubber Puggy incident they swept under the carpet, I doubt I'll be making Replicat my home.
