  1. Save your money and get a new one
  2. well built, looks gen to me, what does the gen watch with that gen dial look like
  3. All of it is possible but all require a bit of work, I assume you have a matching tube for the crown or dont want it to screw down The bit about the dial feet is correct, they need to be removed Infact you are talking about 4 parts that were never designed to fit together, so i would say $120 is not a bad price for the fiddling about it could be
  4. Dial seams to fit well in that case
  5. I was just thinking about the plexy on your tudor to be honest as the gen is apparently hard to get would it be possible to reposition the loupe, do you use heat to loosen the glue and then re-glue with UV glue?
  6. Happy with using heat to loosen the glue on a sapphire but is it possible on a plexy?
  7. if it is a 28xx i am sure i have a spare stem in my desk somewhere
  8. does any one know if he is still making pens?
  9. you would need another dial and hands, and you would have to check the stem alignment, but you can put a rover V8 motor in a mini body so any thing is possible
  10. Yes it should do once the reversing wheel and the rest of the auto wind parts are removed
  11. menu will be sent out this evening to all, This is the same restaurant that we went to last year (twice for some of us) so i can confirm that the atmosphere and food is just great,
  12. I have even tried to wear other watches, not even the seadwellers work, i just want to wear this, I managed for one working day with an INGY and as soon as i got home i put this back on
  13. I think you would really de-value your gen by customizing it, it may make it perfect for you but if you ever came to sell it you would hit problems, but if you still have the original dial then you can put it back to original, I would however recommend that you start with a noobmarina and customize that first. at about $100 if you mess up if is not a big loss, after that to get something like gen quality then you are looking at a WM9, non of these dials will fit a gen movement though.
  14. me like too is that a white or silver date wheel?
  15. with 3 or 4 obvious mistakes as well
  16. I am going to be cynical and say fake, but secretly hoping that it is real and in such perfect condition
  17. Not an expert but it looks good to me, lack of the groves on the flip lock, good strong stampings ect
  18. I am just trying to see how i get on with the DR on a leather, the vintage leather on yours looks good, crown guards look good too
