  11. Non hacking quick sets, I have a 2783 on the way that will be modifiable to hacking if it is not originally, i think the mod to non quick set is easy, remove the date quick set gear and file the setting lever.
  12. There are two ways depending on what you need to do, if it is just change the weight you can do that by rotating the silver washer around the bearing until the flats line up and the weight will come off, The hardest part is getting the washer retaining ring back on with out a special tool but it can be done You can remove the winding bridge and undo the 3 small screws that hold the bearing on if you need to change the bearing as well, be careful as this bridge also holds the hacking lever in place and it is easy to forget to re fit it
  13. Hmm I am looking for a slow beat with a hacking lever for a great white
  14. But ziggy also said that this type of jewel has worked for many years without problems, How ever i count at least 7 ruby jewels 4 in the top and bottom shock protection 1 roller jewel 2 escape jewels I will be very surprised if these 7 are not there However that said, in my eyes this is not what is advertised, the amount of jewels to me is the amount of rubys not the amount of bearings.
