It gets worse than that i service a gen tag to tone the other week and i was supprised to find a plastic movement spacer! just like you would find on a cheep rep and this was gen!
I think that shake is the wrong word, rock or rotate in order for the rotor to turn and start winding the watch would be better, however whith the movement of your seconds hand the way you wound it would make no difference
Well a full service will find and solve the problem, i would agree with grna that you have either worn or missing teeth on one or more gears in the going train
T is is possible to produce only the 0.9mm crown and then if someone (most people) wants fit a 1.2mm crown then use the stem adapters that are available from bolley, in 1.2mm crown to 0.9mm stem or 0.9 crown to 1.2 stem (A wellen verlangerung)I think it would be fiddly as you would end up with a short stem then the adapter in too the crown and then the crown but it would simplify production and help keep costs down?
Mark a new movement would cost you as much as a new watch when you consider the movement cost, tax, shipping ect and then paying some one to fit it. Unfortunately this is part of the game with reps, i have generally been very lucky but you get the odd problem and i have not sen any of the smaller asian movements available from cousins uk ect,
I am planning the next one with her, we are thinking 2892, in a PVD radiomir case, home made movement holder, with a pilot dial and hands and converting the movement to single position crown for authentic feel
