  1. You would have to ask Concepta that, i suggest you PM him
  2. Thanks Shundi, Inspired find with the make up! where is your avatar from??
  3. It has to be made a little thinner on the bezel side.
  4. Just had word from KBH that the hands clear the dial on a GMTIIC ICHS fine
  5. A good description that "Disappear" on your wrist
  6. Oh I have a 1680 to do and then a Seadweller case that i am looking for parts for, ie dial, hands, bezel insert and strap/bracelet. I am thinking great white for that case.
  7. Thanks Mate, just a lucky one i suppose but i liked enough to use as my desk top.
  8. QC is quality control, you have to use the contact button and ask for a price and the colour of the movement makes no difference what so ever, they are available to buy direct from ETA in silver or gold what ever takes your fancy. I have bought about 10 watches over the last 5 years from PT and my friend maybe 50
  9. If you are in France try precious time, he does have some QC as his stock is shipped from him in the EU. Never had a bad deal with him and i have recommended him to many friends with out problems http://ptswiss.com/product_info.php?cPath=50&products_id=162
  10. Nice post mate, good choice of Gen too!
  11. I would say it is just a spinning rotor too, being deaf i can still hear some 7750 rotor spinning, wear it for a day and see what the power reserve is 40 hours is about normal. Love the Blackbird
  12. If i had a B&R 02 i would. You should look at making INGY straps, Lots of INGYs out there need new shoes, I am having one made in Spain at the moment. I like your Blog too.
  13. I miss mine some times but the 3717 i swapped it for gets more wrist time (well it used to until the DRSD)
  14. The best would be a franken by Concepta, then a DLC coated movement from Avitt, then it is from the dealers and they will all be the same crap shoot if it works.
  15. I would suggest buy the watch you want from trusty or Josh or precious time if you are in the EU and then send it to Ziggy or Domi for a service and then you can be sure that it will be fine, Reps are Reps and the QC is at best flaky. That is the only way i see if you cant work on them your self (and many cant) to get any assurance. Even Gens can have problems out of the box or a few months later.
  16. Thanks for the inspiration Freddy, you and your beater Go on add a photo of yours in here
  17. Really the only way to tell is to inspect it
  18. Stunning work there!!!! Stone ground!!!!!!
  19. Thanks Pre V, not sure about my photography, if they are good then it is more luck than judgement.
  20. No idea Fakey but i think you will have problems with those bits falling off no matter who sells it.
  21. The Asian 3135 is just an Asian clone with 2 parts added on to it to make it look like the 3135, the problem is that these parts fall off and stop the movement, apart from that it is not a problem, but with out these parts it looks like a 2824, as you cant see it any way just stick with a 2824/36, you wont know if it is old or not but even if it is old it will just need a service and it will be fine, at least the clone will be new.
  22. What movement is it any way, clone 2824?
  23. Welcome, Spend your time reading before you spend your cash. There is so much to choose from, The Asian clones are at least new, A Swiss ETA may be surplus and old so you never know.
