  1. That is not normal from presious time! i have never paid to china for and order did you go to www.ptswiss.com?
  2. I think the only issue may be stem alignment as the 1120 is a bit thiner and you may need to space the dial .5mm away, Pugwash had a similar issue with a planet ocean.
  3. The gens are a nice investment (if you buy the right ones) particualy if you want something to leave to your kids, I do have to fully agree with BT, Particualy what you actualy generally get in a gen at Rep price, the likes of fosile or festina when you look at the top end of the rep price range, these are not better watches at all, go a bit higher and from the smaller companys then you can get a hand assembled watch built just for you but when you look at the major brands, it is all pay for the name and then pay again when it comes to repair and servicing.
  4. . I can order you one in if it is on stock. i will send you a PM
  5. yes it could have been taken out of a watch that was built years ago and never sold, so will need servicing
  6. Hey welcome home D, where you been hiding?
  7. I am sure that feels nice to wear, particularly with 40years of smoothing behind it
  8. Never say it cant be done, it can just how well is the question
  9. As i dont have a scanner would a very good photo taken of an MBW overlay work?, It could then be vectorised to smooth it and as long as it was printed at the correct size on a transfer or even thin paper it could be used, it may even be possible to add the silver back ground in photoshop? hey then i could cut them out and and sell them for $25 a pop or i could just up load the file Is it worth a try?
  10. I tell you one thing the slower beat movement is really apparent, spoilt for years with 28800 you really see the 21600 tick.
  11. Very True Chub, started looking at GMT Masters now, Must remember to walk before i can run!
  12. Thanks but i was just lucky with those photos, where is the GMT from
  13. Falcon eye all the answers to your questions are out there in the forum. whether my watch is still working is irelevant as i am able to service and fix my own watches, but as you ask yes it is but i have serviced it. Even my wifes Aqua Terra Omega Gen had to go for repair after 3 years.
  14. Let me know what you find, i f you get a good one it may be possible to scan it and then reprint them
  15. They are nice and big, but not too blingy thankfully. I no longer have that one on a bracelet VikkyRob has it I swapped for BCE when i fixed my broken BB so now i have the one on leather with the ocean racer clasp, now that is nice!
  16. Well it is OK but thanks, i suppose i am self critical, it works well though.
