  3. Small and dainty are words not used to describe it What gets me is here SOSF is scratched to bits, it really looks like it has been used in industrial diving, how the hell would a scratch magnet like this look after a couple of months, how would it look PVDed or blasted?????

I think you will find the ETA 2836 is the asiam clone, looks just like an ETA 2836 even down to the stampings but is total asian, The Swiss ETA 2836 will be a surplus, or made in Asia at an ETA factory. Ther are very small differences particualy in the quality deptment, go to the Eurotimez page and he gives a good description of how to spot them. I also belive Ziggy has had a few words on the subject have a search about. These are not the Asian 21j myota copys though

Marky dont spend a load of cash out on straps just distres that one you will be supprissed how they can look, water down some bleach and saok the strap for a min, then lightly scrub with a soft nail brush, repeat untill all the painted service is gone then rinse to get any bleach out of it, then alow to dry naturaly, give it a good leather wax/feed and you will be supprised how nice they can look. this looked like yours and all i did was strip it and gave it some neutral wax

  22. Sub or SD you may be lucky and pick up an IWC ingy chrono for that price if that flicks your switch. you will definatly be able to get a Ti AMG ingy, they dont seem to sell that well.
  23. Any thing from china is either Swinese at best, the Chiss ones are not bad though.
