of course this is the gamble narikaa has a tourb that he uses as the dailey beater. i did alot of research on the forum before buying. these have a good reliability rate (the newer chinese movments) but if it fails well thats when you need some luck. one reason price is key and i didnt want to spend 1k. at some point when your down we will meet up. this one is more impressive in person than the photo and that doesnt happen to often.

yeah, there are a few of their models there that are sold as Aeromatic - and those are selling in the 700 range. Just like on ebay make up a german company import chinese watches, make 300 bucks a watch If there were smell of volume our dealers would run in a heartbeat

yeah check our collectors, they have 600+ on the tourby reps. And, i think the no name is better than than the rep - no way i wear a 100,000 tourby watch, but this, is a watch i could afford.. Interesting site. I wonder if i could have ordered direct. Based upon the dealer prices, i'm pretty sure i didn't pay much over cost, especially on small volume. Its an impressive watch. I'd buy another from this company. But alot of the watches on that site are UGLY

whoops, i had 1 photo twice- now fixed Yeah i was totally blown away when i got it. Its really special. the crystal is dommed and has a magnifying effect which is cool for he tourby. its a really nice case too, feels very solid

so, i picked up this little puppy on the bay for 500 bucks - Power reserve. AR obviously tourbillon. I think blue screws in the tourb cage would have been in order, but the dial is fantastic. 2 straps, 2 deployants. This guy is getting robbed - and i held the gun :)I think its his advertising. I offered to try to spruse it up to help him with sales to help pay for the watch, he didn't want to take me up on it. yeah its cyclical for me - probably cause i'm in florida. its everyday, at some point its a whole link to small and at some point its crushing me.

anyone else have wrist shrinkage and growage as to make the watch tight and then floppy? it bothers me. less not we forget the fraud- movements not as advertised - movment shots just so happen to be missing from those layouts. These guys - freinds of mine, went from really reliable honest straight forward guys to pushing the envelope. Good business? - maybe- but, good consumers fight back. We are a closed group here, fish in a barrel - these guys do no marketing for our business, we funnel it to them. They need to respect that. They are trying to create a monopoloy in order to be greedy on profits. - no country in the world still thinks thats a good idea - an unregulated monopoly. why? cause with power comes corruption. 2 yrs ago, i would say no way josh would sell an asian as ETA. I just believe that in his character. Today? i have to check the photos everytime. Reality is - for the asia dealers- the are making $$ hand over ofist and i'm sure are living pretty high in the china pecking order. - Provide good service - get paid - great. Start defrauding and cooluding to jack up prices = greed. greed is NOT good

I'm not 100% on the mineral - but, i saw it listed somewhere as synthetic. - And silix is good. At least on par. The only problem i have with them is they only answer emails once a day - around 8 am my time and when your doing back and forth on the questions, it takes forever to order a watch. Precious time - (not angus) is also not into the price fixing - and has gone out of his way to work with me and is as responsive as josh ever was. So far no screw ups on the ordering which i can't say for my experience with TWP or Silix (both had sent me wrong colored items) I really followed Pugwash's lead on this one and i think he has it right. So at least for now, after a few months and several transactions searching for a new steady dealer with better pricing than josh's i'm sticking with precious time. Although i am moving away from reps somewhat i have my original models and gens that i am concentrating on at the moment. I have a no-name tourbillon coming this week - VERY excited about it i'm totally skewing dress watches

I have a very thick v strap that is brownish - used to be on my "the 666" project. Only worn a few times. I have only bought a couple of reps from him, but i do know that the website is just the begining of the catalogue, he can get whatever. - so its always worth the inquiry. Personally, i'm using Precious Time - competitive pricing - excellent communication. I have some asian steelfish on he way i'm sending out as gifts - i'll let you know how it compares to my eta. - its not just the AR either, i think the asian is mineral crystal vs saphire -which i have to imagine especially in that thickness makes a difference. fyi, Mez - have i mentioned this month that your avatar freaks me out?

what is crazy though is the person selling his used asian steelfish for 130 when silix now has them new for 100 always gotta check the market.

firdst the 2nd hand market is alot bigger than it was 2 yrs ago hence higher prices second reps cost more so. maybe i get a bce for 300 wear it 4 times and sell it for 250 the percentage is high but 50 bucks for a wacth worn a few times is a good deal and if there were problems it has cost me more than 30 or 40 sometimes to ship back andget it resolved. third ! am poor. i cant afford to donate watches for under market pricing. fourth the market is pretty stable. if i price high it wont sell if i drop it sells quick the "good deals" are gone within an hour of posting and are not often seen. the mod markup is a problem as i am starting to see out right fraud in the mod market. can't wait to see the reaction when someone's pam36 gets advertised witha canon pin fix. the modding has gotten out of contol in my opinion and our members are getting ripped off. with the inflated pricing and mod fraud we may as well be rep center. but that is for another thread
