  1. like a mirror back? interesting only thing is bad is that with the black movement i got rid of all the reflection that was going on in there - which was then clouding up the crystal somewhat. probably not enough clearance for an angle.but a mirror would be interesting
  2. garlic won't work on it, the watch is jewish but i guess, this would be a good one to push to the Transylvania market The evil thing about it, is, in normal light, it sooo dark and you just see these dark lines that are jagged, and the glow appears to just float it has like a batman begins feel to it. hard to capture, but i'll play with some photoshop on it and try to give it the real world feel. the AR is so needed though, cause the glare almost gives a grey hue to the dial. I'm gettin in on cheif's current run.
  3. thanks all - new collection shots in a few weeks when i get crystals back from the latest cheiftang run. this watch is right up at the top of my favorites of all time. it really looks way cooler in person
  4. I'm rushing out the door, but i swapped out a pvdish, black skeleton movement in el skawronek project, there was something i didn't like about the color of the gold - and its shiny ness - it looks now, totally evil - batman like - the photos don't do it justice. I really need a better AR on here - the current ar is almost non-existant. enjoy
  5. Yeah, this one jumps to the top of the list. I mean, for all of us who have been doing this for a while - 90% of the reps are based on like 3 movements - so, the variety becomes key. This clearly stands out and at least for me - i start craving the variety. Right now, swordfish and a TT BCE are on my list - i'm not ready to buy yet though, just like many have predicted, the rising prices have me looking for inexpensive "gens" i just picked up this sweet citizen and this mama jama This one, is 55mm - its a little over the top in size, but looks nice in person - with AR and a nicer strap, this thing would look like an expensive watch - but, i'm not going to put any $$ into it, cause its just a little to big.
  6. Nice style my friend - I will soon be unveiling the El Skawronek 2.0 which will have a pvd skeleton movement !!! I love all black watches - i have another large black watch that i'm getting from ebay that i'm interested to share as well
  7. with all due respect to my compatriot Stephane Screw rolex - get a real collectors watch - Go UN http://www.watchesandbeyond.com/item.asp?model=353-66-314
  8. Feel better soon man Neil is a valued member of the community and has been collecting reps since most of the membership here was in diapers!
  9. this junk is bidding for like 80 bucks!!!!!!!!
  10. That is CRAZY good - you have come very far my friend I LOVE it.
  11. Its a tuff issue - this has been debated, openly and behind closed doors for years. This is why we, the active members need to make sure that we don't let scammers create propaganda in threads here. And, i don't mean to offend those who work hard on other forums - but the reality is, we have better standards here than on the other "newer" forums. Some of which were started in order to give a place for people who have earned a bad reputation here. We, as RWG and as one of the senior large/ active forums need to be vigulant. But, were never going to be able to save every newb, they will have to search and the info will be there. We provide alot of support. but no system is perfect. Even good dealers - and good modders sometimes turn bad, it happens.
  12. such a short time later and now there ARE reps of these models
  13. The blue one is on King's site. I asked precious time about it, and he can get it. I plan on ordering as well. were you talking about numerals like 1,2,3 or roman numerals - the roman numeral gen is a special edition. i haven't seen the rep yet
  14. Well, what my tissot does is take an average of my wriste and air temp - or the temp of the case. so you just have to calculate based upon you being 98.6 degrees - works very well with the tissot. re: the waterproof - yeah, i don't think i'd get an honest answer out of these clowns
  15. so i caught this one on ebay today, i think its a millionsmart special. but i think its pretty cool - 55mm its freakin huge - and cheap, 150ish to 180 depending on SS or pvd including shipping. Thinking about picking one up - anyone ever have one? and how exactly does it tell the humidity and be waterproof Me thinks there is something amiss there
  16. Ubi is a Newbi? Say it aiin't so sorry, had to chim in
  17. Its one of my favorites, very super comfortable, it gets lots of people staring at your wrist For sure one of my best - i'd like to get the AR upped to the new top end RWG standards. Corum is one of my favorite brands, I'm glad they are doing high end reps for them. this watch also made me really like rubber straps!
  18. nice read but you left out the el skawronek
  19. excellent product, i use the gen croc (50 bucks) on my skeleton watch good prices, good product, highly recomended
  20. well, you definatly hit some of the best I have had most of those - what do you think of the porche, in comparison
  21. Its all about the Girth!!!!!!!! Thick straps make the watch
  22. looks great to me, you have come a long way from your very first strap!
