Calling all Rolex Yachtmaster experts, interested in potentually making a purchase from Watchmaker9. What am i really getting into? In terms of replication are these watches as good as it gets? I noticed that the cases accept the Gen movement and indeed 'G' has them listed as a movement option,For $2,500.Greatly appreciate all learned opinions on the matter. You can try 'domi66' but he's in Germany. He's done a full service and graphic treatment on my Rubberclad, i also got him to make the watch 100% waterproof, the watch runs like a Trojan. Might want to sit down before he quotes you in Euros! Depends on how long you intend on keeping it.

Thought this may be useful for all EU Ap Ofshore secs@12 owners. Decided to take the plunge and ordered my Rubber Clad from Andrew@Trusty. Rather than wait for it to grind to a halt i contacted Domi66(EU based watch genius) with a view to making the watches movement a bit more reliable. I also wanted to not worry about going into the shower and ending up with a mist filled watch. So he has performed a full service/graphite treatment, full waterproofing, relumed dial and AR on the crystal. First of all i have to say that regardless of its Replica status this is one of the nicest watches i have ever owned. Yes they are expensive replicas but the construction alone puts it in league with many of my so called premium gens, it really is that good. If you have been on the fence about this model then my advise is take the plunge but do get the mechanics of the watch sorted and hopefully it will last as long as you want to wear it. Morning Toad Andrew emailed me yesterday confirming that ther is a new 1655 rep on the way(eta based)He has sent his own watch for replication. He was clear that there were going to to be other models first.Couldn't get anymore out of him. Lets see what they come up with. Cheers DH

Any thoughts on buying a complete 1655 from Phong at Jewelry and watch, any experiences etc? I have had in the past a DRSD case from NT Trading which my watchmaker spotted a mile away as not being a genuine case, are these cases the same product or is Phongs stuff really that good.All thoughts greatly appreciated. Bezel is great, had it pressure tested by my watch repair man, totally waterproof.Go for it, you won't regret it.

I stand corrected, having just talked to Phong, he has nothing to do with NDTrading. I am sending my 1665 project to him for 'aging' next week, wheni get it back i will take some shots.Interested to see if he can really make the watch look 30 years old.

Phong from Jewelryandwatch.com, i think he is also the owner of NDTradingcorp.com. I have previously bought a 1665 case, dial and genuine Rolex 1570 movement from him. About as good as it gets regarding replacement parts, but expensive. Iam going to post some pictures of my watch in the next few weeks.

Hello All, Does anyone know if there is going to be a swiss eta version of the recently revised 'ultimate' version Breitling SuperOcean Heritage(only appears to be available with Asian eta copy so far). I have asked the question at Trusty but had no answer as yet. I am after the revised case with the cut out crown area ,waterproofed and improved date font etc. Cash waiting to be spent!
