Funny enough, I stumbled across a new high St Jewellers/watch repair shop in NW London. I went in, (watch nerd) and had an hours convo with the owner, he has extensive old equipment, and the modern stuff. He does on site repairs, waterproofing, servicing, everything. Even showed me a few re-dials he had made for a customer from his relative in India, pretty impressive.
He was even aware of a7750's and the eta clones, is familiar with them, and happy to work on them.
A pretty good find considering we have no real on board watch smith members here in London.

Luke would you be happy to share the name of the guys shop, this could be a real help to our other UK members.

Welcome to the fun and sometimes expensive hobby madhouse

Welcome to the forum Steve, You've certainly managed to do some homework so a good start. We have a wealth of expertise here on the forum so perhaps use the search engine on the Rolex forum and you should find what you need.
Certainly the links you've found are some of the best modern Sub Reps currently available.
Hope that helps

Gen movement, but i would say the rest is certainly after market . $3000.00 seems a lot what will it go to i wonder!

They were referred to as a BP case over on another forum, so it's not gen-like construction, but with the 9015 they should make an excellent beater. And it's priced at half of a TC.
Bezel insert is older style with the flat 4 in 40, but the crown guards look good and if the lume is good, it would be nice.
Thanks for that Info Ally, information like that really helps the members on here without the expertise in these models

I think its the same as eta2836 by the look of things

I have a watch with a 9015 and it is reasonably quiet. I guess no louder than a clone 28XX.
I can only assume that it might be better to use a gen 9015 than a clone 28XX. It all depends on where the movement are assembled, but in principle if they come from Japan assembled and are dropped into the case in a half-clean place, they might give better performance than a clone movement. It should go without saying that the 9015 blows away any 21J (which IIRC is a clone of the Miyota 8215).
Hi Revere, whats the deal with the hand adjustment? same rotation as eta2836 of the same as gen 3135?

Any Thoughts on this new model Gentlemen? Better in anyway regarding the Miyota movement? Hand rotation etc and Will it be a noisy beast

Just had a quick look at Yuki's website and he appears to have gone undercoverAll contact done by email and most of the AM parts pictures have been removed. I wonder if Rolex have knocked on his door?

Any chance of some close up shots of the lug engravings? It does look a bit too 'new' given its supposed age
Also a close up of the underside of the crown. Is it wrapped?

DenimHead, what's that towing you? Wow what a shot, that last one!
Its a Cable Ski Bob, originally developed in Germany to get around Lake Bank damage. The wake produced by the big power boats eroded the Lakes bank sides. So Imagine the same set up as a sking button lift in a circle over a lake at 20-30mph!!! Oh and throw in ramps to go over. Its my main summer hobby, keeps you fit and normally quite damaged most years.
Only mild concussion and a parcially dislocated hip last year

I enjoy watching Rugby and football (soccer) on TV and also movies.
I also enjoy JDM cars and have had mine for 10 years now. I'd love to own a classic 911, be it a 993 or a 964(Singer). The Singer is much less likely though.
Activity wise: cycling, surfing and the beach life here in Cornwall.
A nice beer or three to relax with friends along with some Indian food - curry!
A simple life for me generally.
Where are you based Kernow?
Cheers Mark

Hi I am new here and just wondering if there are any trusted dealers in the UK help will be much appreciated thanks
Welcome to the forum Sub, as suggested please do have a good about how it all works. If you contact one of the listed trusted dealers normally most of these guys have a trans shipper who for you would be based in the EU. This form of shipping will cost more but you will in most cases get your watch. Hope that helps a bit.
Cheers DH

The new cartel cases are absolutely great for modding for the bucks imo.. Have a look at my 1680.
1st unmodded- only aged
2nd modded, aged with 702 crown, relumed dial and some more case shaving.
Cheers Phil

good starting point for a GMT 1675?

Sadly there are no good starting point reps for a 1675 build, you can use the cartel 1655 explorer case but you will need to take a lot of metal off the outer edges of the CG's to get it remotely like the Gen and the case is too thick as well. I have spoken to the Cartel boys and asked if they would consider a good 1657/1655 rep so we will see.
