has anyone managed to buy anything from Ingod recently? Don't seem to be able to get anywhere with him

Just noticed that this has appeared on the main dealers websites, any thoughts from the Pam experts? I like the idea of a 42mm Panerai

Ok, so there is a big price difference!
That is exactly why I am asking.
Sometimes I see prices off (or over) 1000 USD for a 11 link 93150 with either 580 or 501b EL's.
But I bought, a rocked one for a bit less than 300 USD on the bay yesterday. I think I got a bargain but maybe it all depends on the state it is in.
Trying to figure out what are acceptable prices for these bracelets in there different states.

I think for 300 bucks mate you've grabbed a bargain, a nice clasp fetches that.
Well done J

We would expect to pay around £400.00 -£500.00 for a nice one here in the UK, but I'm sure they go for far more via the forum

I like it!
That looks brilliant, maybe send Panerai a picture for inspiration!

Any thoughts Gents? excuse my ignorance but does this function 100% as per gen? What controls the countdown?

Hmmm, well on a personal note I've been collecting and selling VIntage Rolex sports models for over 20 years now and in the 8 years that I've been on this particular forum I've actually learned morefrom the gents on here than I have from my fellow forum members over on VRF. My take is actually the chaps on here don't treat the whole vintage Rolex thing too seriously and actually enjoy the watches for what they are, they tell the time and don't get wet. I actually bought my first 1680 from a commercial oil rig diver who used to drink in my local pub and occasionally used his watch as a hammer! Ahhh £750.00 if I remember rightyThere are some chumps on there but there are also some very, very knowledgeable collectors and genuine Rolex experts/enthusiasts with decades of first hand experience owning, buying, selling, living, breathing all things Rolex. IMO there is absolutely more knowledge on TRF (and VRF) than on all the rep forums combined. Said people don't tend to say so much but they are there and will help you if you know where to look and what to ask.
There only watches in the end

Yes please, I'll take two!
I reckon you can go through life with appliances or with soul. I could drive a Toyota Landcruiser but I prefer a '63 Land Rover. I like Madshus skate skis but I prefer Trysil-Knut wooden skis.
These will all "get the job done" but a few will make memories as they do.
I love the way Charles Morgan describes the car as something you can pop to the supermarket in, only a 100 ever made.

It's like driving an Audi A8 vs driving a Morgan Plus 8.
Very elliquently put Mr B!

Looks fantastic Tom, on with a 5513 and a 5517 build myself at present! It's an illness that can't be cured ;-)

Nice MK1 Maxi dial with the longer thinner coronet which started from around 1975. Issued in 1977 so sounds about right. Couldn't really see but if the fixed wires are still intact its an easy enough job to put a folded bracelet on the watch as the endlinks don't need to function as such.
Nice Christmas present for the bloke!
