+ 1 For DELL and LENOVO(ex IBM) THINKPAD! (had almost every brand as workplace PC/Laptop. Toshiba - Fujitsu/Siemems - IBM - Lenovo - HP) Lenovo(also Thinkpad) could be also an option as good "budget" Laptop - look out for DELL too - been told that they have one of the best price-performance-ratio! And dont go for Vista - take Win 7 or XP - its a pain in the ass, also concerning performance. B/R George

You bet i had hard times too - i resigned 2 times from different companies and do work at the same company since 2003... In our business you can not be 100% sure if you are going to make it and stay in your position another 3 or 5 years. Whatever - changes in occupation/workplace do sometimes also bring good turns in life. Before this i learned Toolmaker from 93 till 96 (at GM - Adam Opel AG) I really am wishing you the best!! I would cross-check info you get from that site. For example, in the Remarks section, they list the 2846 as being available from '1997-', when in fact the 2846 has been available since at least the 1970s (I have a DJ rep from the mid-80s that contains a 2846) & was discontinued several years ago.

For ex. an 2836-2 is an 1:1 swap - an 2892 eta might also fit the watchcase but parts are not interchangeable here with 2824. Cheers George
