Hi
WM9 is like a boutique producer of reps. He does low amounts and pays a lot attention to detail and accuracy. There is no one producing a 3717 in comparable quality. If memory serves right WM9 is planning to do a Mark XVI but not 3717.
But the V3 3717 you can get from almost all the trusted dealers here is quite decent actually. Just ask them via E-Mail to make sure you get a V3 and not something else.

Thanks for the great evening! I really enjoyed your company very much. There's soooo much to learn for me about watches.
Looking forward to seeing the pix.

Thanks. That's why he died so young, I guess. Never had the time to record crap.
Now listening to Doc Watson, Black Mountain Rag. Sorry about that.

Guys, I have only just found this tread. This is a very touching project and I feel somewhat special just by being allowed to be part of a community who brings out friendships like this one.
Kind regards
Val.
I know. And it breaks my heart. Let's hope that they realize somewhere down the road that they're in a horribly bad design nightmare and return to something less bulky and ...ugly.
I agree a hundred percent. I liked the GMTIIc but it grew stale on me pretty quickly. Now it just sits inside the watch box. ...I don't want to speak about the SDDS, don't want to make myself too unpopular here. It's simply nothing to do with the classic watch they made for so many years.

I fear there's not too many guys around with the kind of experience your looking for here.
I can't help you either with your question, sorry.
What I'm absolutely certain is this: If your wife says she wants the one with the bling, don't - just don't - try and order the plain white one.
Just my two cents.

Wow BT, you really set high standards for reviews!
This is a great read, thank you so much for the time and energy invested in this!
You make me seriously consider getting this. And i'm not even a Breit guy!
Val.
I'm sorry that you received an only partly satisfying 3717, mactower.
I don't mean to hijack your thread but as you mention that the markers are uneven I thought I might ask: Is there a step by step guide somewhere on how to do this? My markers are slightly off too.
