Very interesting read, thanks! Interesting to read that he considers a simple ETA caliber more reliable that the 3135! ETA is obviously bang for the buck.

No worries, Jkay. In fact less and less young men really go to army here. It's not very popular with the employers anymore, takes too much time. If you're not member of the militia army, you're not required to go shooting annually. Although militia army is still a myth, it's very easy not get out (or not get in).

At least there's some profit!
I don't even know exactly what you are talking about so I won't be of any help. But good luck with the hunt!
Kind regards
Valerian
Honestly: I don't like it too much. Apologies.
With jeans or blue suit I'd go with a tan or honey alligator grain strap. If your dressing smart it will of course depend on the shoe colour of course. Blue suit and brown shoes are very italian. Suits the watch.
No offence.
Kind regards
Valerian
Only just seen this. Plai, I wish your friend all the best and I hope everything turns out well. These kinds of miracles DO happen everyday, so do not lose hope!
Kind regards
Val.
I don't own a gun, have never touched one and all my friends don't own guns either. Pretty safe around here, though.
Val.
EDIT: I do look and talk like Rambo though.
1. SIG is originally a Swiss company.
2. I am Swiss, and a lawyer. I am (and all of my fellow citizens) NOT required - by law or any stupid rule - to carry a gun at any time.
3. While it is true that as a active member of Swiss military you will usually have to store your gun at home, there is an easy way out of this: You can store it at the armoury.
4. There is a strong movement atm to ban home storing of military weapons because there have been a series of killings done with these weapons.
5. Nazi attacks in Switzerland have been scarce during the last 50 years. And never happened in the years before those 50 years.
Kind regards

I was not trying to bash you, just had a little fun. Sorry if this came across as being harsh.
I honestly have not seen any fur straps, but I'm sure it's been done before.
If you find some, please post a wristie. Nanuq obviously won't, although I heard he has some of those mammoth fur strapped ice age Rolexes hidden somewhere in an glacial cave.

Not an expert on the Ceramic Submariner. It looks very good to me (not sure about those rehaut engravings though).
But your photography, man! Great stuff!
Val.
This is otherworldy! Perfect perfect perfect!
I have now studied this thread very thoroughly and I'm quite certain that PeteM has not been called out!
PeteM can we please see your top five?
Val.
You guys' pictures are so great I hardly dare to post my stuff. But I'm actually wearing this so I think I will put it up anyway...
WM9v2 with gen insert for today. Waiting for another gen insert which has the correct 4 for the z-serial 16610 (not flat top).
Kind regards
Valerian.
Fantastic watch! Congratulations if you get the gen one! Watch out for the blue tone on the hands. Genuine blued metal is darker while rep "blued" hands are almost always too bright.
