  1. Hi Ben Welcome to this great forum. I don't know anything about Hublots so I can't help you with your question. Sorry about that. I'd advise you to be patient with your question. It's weekend and people are busy with their families so the forum is generally slow. Use the waiting time to do some research, maybe you'll find an answer to your question accidentally (happened to me many times ). And if not I guarantee you you'll learn other stuff, loads of extremely savvy people around. Maybe you'll find the time to write an introduction post in the intro section. While you're there make sure to read Toad's extremely helpful noob guide. Have a great time! Valerian.

  5. Sorry to hear about your rough day and happy if I could help a little with that. I hope Sunday turns out better. Great pic, Ubi: Swiss legendary watch design and Belgian chocolate blending art. Love the Tona. Val.
  6. Me too, I use reps to test the water. If I really really like the rep I'm starting to think about getting the gen. Now there's many factors to make me decide to really buy it. Funds being one of the more important, of course. Lack of flaws with the rep will keep me longer from buying the gen. Why buy a gen if the differences are only theoretical? The Rolex Sub is one perfect example for this: I 've been thinking about buying the Gen for a long time. Then I bought the WM9v2 Sub and my gen lust has subsided. I hope the WM9 Ses-Dweller does the same soon or I will loose my temper and go for broke (i.e. gen). Val.
  7. This indeeds looks tasty, Deniz. Looking forward to your wristies. Val.
  8. Hi guys Is there anybody around who swapped their 39mm Railmaster rep dial for a genuine one? And: does anybody know the reference for the dial or where to get it? I could not find any threads about it. Thanks for any help. Valerian

  13. Hi W I bought it in the Bay, a German dealer: His shop is here. This is the model. Price is fair, I guess. Let me know if you need help with the language. Val.
  14. Good evening guys! Wow this thread turned out to be a real 001 knowledge source base! Thanks everyone for the indebt coverage of my watch and other possible versions. Thanks also to Ubi for showing mercy and explaining the necessary basic to a poor noob. Ok, pics of my dial where asked. They're quite merciless in their details. First I need to apologise for the dust all over the case. Secondly you will now see a major flaw I only discovered after a few weeks: The first A in Panerai is distorted. Anything else you see pls. fire away. I'm also interested in modding suggestions. I can't send to Zigmaster but to Bricciola. Here we go: Kind regards Val.
  15. I'm in for a gift too! Great idea! Val.
  16. Great information, Lani. That about sums up what I've been doing the past seven weeks. I've lost 14 kilogramms (I think that's 24 pounds) during this short period just by changing my eating habits. I'm not going hungry anytime (Lani's hint about the starving problem is absolutely crucial: as soon as you don't eat at all your body will believe he's an starvation and will pack in fat as soon as he get's a little food again!). I'm on a program called Metabolic Balance but I fear it does not exist in English. It helped me a lot. Most important: Don't eat too much carbs, go on vegetables and low fat meat. No diet products, they ruin your palate and your metabolism. Carbs are for people who work out or move professionally. Me I'm glued to my office chair or to meeting tables. I won't burn loads of energy. So no pasta, bread, rice or potatoes but broccoli, chicken and beans. And loads of water! Best of all: After some weeks you get to eat your favourite soul food again. Just not all the time. If you're intested read this: Metabolic Balance Good luck Val.
  17. I have to congratulate too! Actually I feel happy with you hackR. And besides it takes me one post closer to 1000 at least! To next 1000 posts, man! Valerian
