Hi Some members do it without special gear. Obviously you can force it out with your thumb by pressing from the inside. I'd never do this. Imagine a mineral crystal breaking while your thumb presses on it. Getting the new crystal in without the press is something else. I don't know if this is even possible. Crystal presses are quite cheap at Offshore's Watch Blitz store. Val.

Hi guys Plaifender and Offshore are trying to have sapphire crystals produced for PAM253/212s. See thread here. Those are 44mm models like the Mini Fiddy sold by Jackson Tse (see here; attention: scroll down!) I'm thinking about a Mini Fiddy project and would be interested in a domed sapphire crystal. I understand it does not exist yet and I'm certain there would be some more interest. Is there a Mini Fiddy expert or owner willing to take caliper measurements of their mineral crystal so we can make sure it has the same diameter? Thanks in advance for any help! Kind regards Val.

Very kind of you but they're not really. They are just badly tweaked precisely because I'm a lousy photographer. Hard to see, because of the cyclops. But it doesn't look like it and I don't think so. Why should it? Just the usual 7750, no other fancy thus problematic stuff. Am I thinking wrong? Val.

They're both OK for me. But I'm not very PAM savvy so I can't say if they're up to the actual standards. I know Trusty sells this claiming it has enhanced cyclops. Pls. bear with me for a few days, I'll really try to do some more expressive shots. So you can see for yourself. Val.
