MGI, $42? dayymn - is that a 21J in that PAM? oh btw greg... no quartz need apply - it is, by far, the largest tell for a rep (with the rare exception of some gen quartz like the colt or whatever but even a gen peoplel think is fake) for me the real beauty of a watch is it's mechanical wonder and while quartz is mechanical, it is also electronic - and electronics take all the wonder away - may as well use a digital face while your at it I'm not against electronics either - I'm a computer hardware nutzor but not for a watch. the cheapest $10 mechanical movement > quartz
-
it's true greg's cheap actually speaking of which, it would be nice to see more reviews of super cheap watches - there are so many - I'm sure there are some really good ones - my $108 sub from Josh is proof. I noticed that most take lame pictures of their cheapo 21J's without showing any details - we should make some type of review thread (or section if we have contact with blade) showing all the best of the best sub $110 watches (I think there is a sub $150 thread in this forum) - I'm sure there is alot of junk out there as well. a few nice ones that come to mind... greg's B&R my beginnermariner Oscars VC
-
yea, considering the subdails don't work - I can't understand why they needed a custom case - I can only guess it has something to do with fitting a large movement

Hey Olipro! glad you found us - very nice tona - the gold on white is... I'd have to say the best looking daytona period - if this watch came in a 45mm, I swear I'd be a hardcore rolex man best of luck with the sec@60

the watch gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling - as any good watch should wear it in good health but the moment you get sick, take this off immediately and send me a pm for shipping instructions -
thanks - I'm curious to see how smoothly things go considering it's from the states

get pricing on the A7750 or the Swiss 7750 if you can - curious to know how cheap they can be had for -
heh - yea I'm sure he meant 45mm 55mm = the Mega Avenger 58mm, the Colossal Avenger (with adapter to use as a belt buckle)
-
nothing - which is pretty sad really this should have been a 2 day thing - I wish I had contact - I'd pay for whatever - do whatever - ah well
-
didn't think I'd bite on this but I saw the forum listing about 5 minutes after it was posted : http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=84348&hl= I thought for $125... I can't even buy an A7750 for that price and I like that it's coming from the U.S. instead of China 42mm - same as my Navi's - I can live with that smaller size whadaya think? I'm still waiting on his confirmation but I'm sure it's this:
-
actually, what am I saying - you only need to ask TT to edit your account on the backend - send him a pm - should be no prob at all in IPB it's as easy as typing a new name and click save we may get home soon but you never know plus I'd still visit this forum in the future - If i do, I'll get a membership here - it's only fair - many knowledgeable people I can plagiarize from we should have a supporting membership over at RWG1 also - maybe blade wouldn't neglect us so much
-
maybe you can sign up using a proxy... ima try for you..

ah, too bad - I was just convincing my gf to wear my sub - actually looks kinda cute on her - this size is just too small for me - I can wear it but it just looks a little silly I'll find a large skeleton one day I'm sure maybe in my closet -
things got slow in the housing market - everyone is waiting to see what happens - if things stabilize - I should be rocking when it turns into a buyers market - already has - and i specialize strictly with buyers - so I continue to burn my reserves until then. our Canadian dollar fell from as high recently as $1.15 US and now hovering around $0.85 and we are in the middle of an election in the next few days - much uncertainty I am just ready to order a watch too - the best SA I can find is what I was thinking... but to be honest, I'm kinda sitting on the fence now - I suppose it's not a huge difference but our dollar was about the same as the US recently so I figure I'm losing about $15 per $100 on a $400 watch.... about $60 - I guess it won't break the bank and things may get even worse - maybe I'll bite now then. as for the 7733 - otto has it for sale for $340 - not a cheapo that's for sure I see the Breitling chronomatic has a Lemania Hand wind with dials at 9 and 3 - not sure on spacing maybe if you get precise measurements from center to sub dial, etc. - I can ask my local movement wholesaler if he has a quartz equivalent - there MUST be one - google not finding anything - I'll keep looking

naw, unfortunately, this is a one of a kind impossible to replicate but there are similar models of course...
