couldn't wait to have it fixed and wanted to test it out today - I have a load of cheap straps I got form my local wholesaler for $3.50 each - some of them are pretty decent - well, I'd say great for the price - tried a black.. didn't feel right - the brown seems to fit the bill until I can order some higher end straps.

low and behold I just checked my mail box about 9 days from USA to Canada bought from RWG2 member packed in a plastic bag and put in a lightly padded envelope - hardly well packed - but it arrived in one piece - the chrono pusher is stuck and doesn't work without excessive force - at 1st, It thought it didn't work at all - didn't want to force anything - then I pushed a little harder.... nothing - I said f.uck it and pushed excessively hard - CLICK! - the chrono starts beating away - the reset pusher is smooth as silk though - I won't be using the start pusher until I can get this fixed - the seller must have known of this issue and it was probably the reason he sold it - the price was reasonable but was not a good deal to say the least considering the condition. I still didn't get my tracking number which the seller said he would send to me last week - he forgot it at work, then was sorry he just forgot, etc. was suppose to get it today but uh, yea I don't have much motivation to take great pics as I'm not very impressed with the transaction - but the watch is good looking though even without AR - I can't wear it - the bracelet might fit a 6.5 or 7" wrist if that - I can't get it past my fingers after opening the deployment lol of course no fault of the seller - I'll have to source links or put it on a strap once I get that pusher issue fixed. the crown is wobbly and seems it will break soon, upon winding the watch you encounter lots of friction - it's abnormally hard to wind (better get my watch winder soon) - other than that.. oh yea, the dial is nothing to write home about with crooked markers and some having more height than others (seen under loupe) - whatever... I paid about $135 US after all was said and done anyhow here is proof it did happen : no post processing - just some crappy pictures for ya

it's a new satin paint - spun off from the flat black trend I've been seeing more often I seen it in real life - nice - my gf was like, wow, what's that! with matching rims to boot it's doesn't reflect any image but still has a shine to it - no matter if you like it - if chicks like it, it's can't be that bad
-

a spin off from the greg got his car smashed with a tree thread. We all bought our vehicles for different reasons - some are expensive - some real cheap - some bought for luxury while others for performance - post pics of your car and tell us the story on how/why you got it I'll start with mine - being in Real Estate, it's somewhat mandatory that you drive a respectable car to carry clients in but I'm no rich guy so after doing a lot of research, It finally decided on this car - a 1999 Mercedes S420 - this car comes in various engines including a S320 (3.2l 6cyl) and two 8 cyl - S420 (4.2l) and S500(5l) and also a 12cyl S600 - all the same body and aside from the engine, there is a huge list of different options - the S600 comes fully loaded with all kinds of electronic gizmos. My S420 was a choice in the middle - I didn't want the 6 cyl because this is a heavy car and I felt the 6 cylinder would be underpowered, have too much stress on it and not last as long so I opted for an 8cyl but didn't need well over 300hp that the S500 has so the 275hp S420 would be ample power and save a bit of gas - I put 50,000km+ year so it adds up Color - well Black is the most beautiful - hardest to care for but once clean and shined, it's the best looking in my opinion - like a mirror I paid $17,500CDN +taxes, etc - came to about $21k (2 years ago) - a great deal considering this car new costs well over $100,000 - it drives like a dream - I instantly fell in love with it - plenty of power and handles great - super comfortable and clients feel like they are the president when they sit in the rear - black leather and burl walnut trim and plenty of leg room to stretch out and a large arm rest sits in the middle to sign house offers on. Over the past 2 years, I've changed a upper control arm, ball joint, 2 ignition coils (there is one per cylinder), spark plugs... uh... and light bulbs - that's it - it's been a tank and I'm very happy with the choice. This is the last year they made this body - many benz lovers swear by this style as the year 2000 brought a newer style that lost the Mercedes character - this is the vehicle leaders of countries ride around in - well use to anyhow but in 3rd world countries, they still do - so I drive a 3rd world country presidential vehicle

this looks to be a great economical car but these pics makes me want to work much harder
